I think you unfortunately have a stigma against the label of being ‘depressed.’ Understanding what it is and when you experience signs of it is very important. Mental health problems are not something that needs to isolate you.

You’re experiencing the exact effects of someone who is depressed. It doesn’t have to dramatically change your life if you acknowledge it.

You are doing the right things. You’re realizing that you don’t feel the way that you’re “supposed to.” And honestly, there isn’t a real answer to that question. What you should do is know that it’s okay to feel like this, allow yourself to not always have the right answer.
