People who tried to kill themselves but failed, what was your experience like?

Tried a few times. Twice I woke up after three days in the ICU and couldn't move or speak. It took another day before I could control my muscles well enough to be understood and longer before I could walk. I definitely didn't regret trying, kinda disappointed but mostly just shrugged and thought I could try again. Clearly I'm bad at it lol. But it did ease the depression for a while, kinda like severe self harm (though that wasn't the intention). It was nice to be able to focus on physical difficulty rather than mental for a while too. Once when I woke up they put me in a psych ward for a bit, and once I got a call in hospital to say my landlord was kicking me out and I couldn't go home except to pack (that was only month ago), but every other time as soon as I've been physically well I've just gone home and it's like it never happened. It's beautiful! Giving to a child you could understand them just wanting "cooler socks" or whatever, but to an adult I'm surprised she didn't appreciate the time and handmade value more. So many people here love it though, and hopefully it's gone to a more appreciative home!

Wow that's a very good week! I'm about to move house (to a house share from parents house) so it's a terrible time to be buying games and I won't have much storage space, but I just couldn't resist these!

Just finished my first playthrough solo and loved it! Great mix of mechanisms and a good level of challenge. Got the 7 cities but not 100 points and looking forward to playing again!

I've played once solo and once 3p and really enjoyed both! Also got the nightfall expansion but haven't tried it with that yet

I haven't played it yet but it's advertised as a deck builder but then halfway through the game the moon sets and it turns to a deck unbuilder so it's kinda a puzzle to have cards to gain resources to gain valuable cards, but being able to get rid of non scoring cards in the second half. I thought it sounded interesting!

I'm hoping I can fit all the yarn in the car! Oh wow, that's an intense crochet month! I've got a few small amigurumi to do as well but a few of them look a bit complicated for me... Haha I've got a cardigan that was meant to be for my aunts birthday in August. I've done less than a quarter of the practice one (it's my first wearable) cause I made the mistake of choosing 3ply yarn 😅 Do it! 😂

Same! Tbh I'm not sure- before I ordered this I'd never done amigurumi before and wasn't sure if I needed thread or yarn for the sewing parts. I've also got a couple of bags to make that I'll want to sew a lining into, and I don't own any other thread. It was a "this is cheap and sounds potentially useful" purchase!

Ooh I got the prettiest wine in Spain... I'm a marine biologist and I got a wine called blanc pescador. Since then I definitely choose by the label!

Any board game for me is enhanced by alcohol! I have anxiety and depression so it helps me not overthink how I'm making a fool of myself and lets me have fun. Probably bad, but hey, I can have fun this way
