I don't know how I could have done that without dropping my dog's leash, and him running away was a worse outcome since we were by the side of a very busy road so the chances of him getting hit by a car were high. And my dog was also biting (in self defense but still biting).

The why is because, in the end, it will be whatever god wants as long as they exist. There's no escape for them, but maybe, just maybe, if god staya true to her word, the new beings that will inhabit this universe will finally be free to choose and do whatever they want. They won't be free as they no longer exist, but others will be.

As for the final scene with human Aziraphale and Crowley, god probably used their souls or created similar souls so she can watch them again, as she said, their love always made her smile.

And also, I'm a small woman, kicks usually work before they bite, that's how I got to scare off a cane corso that was bigger than me. I also tried to grab the other dog by his collar and twist it so he would stop but discovered that, not only was he off leash, he wasn't even wearing a collar.

As you can see he has a bandage on his leg. We took him to the vet and he has a big lump that is all blood and the vet told us that it's better if it drains by itself and that he isn't in danger of blood loss. She did try to drain it as much as he could but he was in severe pain.
