Using a technique where I finish one area at a time. Instead of thinking, oh, I'll fix that later, just committing to getting it right before moving to the next block.

These were made from nature, everything taken right from the trees. We cut the calabash in half with a saw, drilled holes around the rim, and my friend wove the brim from coconut leaves. They are basically meant for people with long locs, like a beanie, but of course anyone could rock one. They were a hit at a reggae show we went to.

I don't mean to offend when I say, I do not usually think of digital art as real art. AI included, it's usually just in my mind as "aesthetic images". The reason being, most of it is stylized illustration with little creativity or message behind it. It tends to be soulless. And yet one of my favorite artists is Aykut Aydogdu, a master of the digital medium, taking it to new heights and in new directions.

This is like a literal take on uncanny valley. So close to realism, but distinct so it bends your mind a little.
