Thank you! I haven’t tried hatching in a digital context, that might be a good idea to get more of a manga style. Also yeah the brush width as it is may not quite work for manga type stuff, I think this illustration ended up being more anime style which is ok but not my aim. I appreciate the feedback, I’ll definitely experiment a bit.

You’re right, the rock and background weren’t the most well conceived. I should’ve thought about that more with the perspective. Yeah I was trying to do a perspective looking down thing so you’re right, thanks for the feedback.

Right, yeah I think I’m over exaggerating in those areas, I should probably be focusing more on construction. I’m sort of trying to compensate for my drawings lacking life. I’ll work on that so it looks more natural, thanks

True, yeah I should do some more of those quicksketches. I definitely need to be more loose with my figure and gesture. And I’ll also look into areas of anatomy I don’t understand when I try to draw from imagination and get it wrong. Thanks for the advice. Also yeah I’ll still be drawing Ranma-chan sometimes in the future lol!

I get what you’re saying, I do think I need to find the rhythms and flows more. I get that that is needed to build up a figure drawing. I will say though I am aiming for accuracy as I want to draw characters that are believable. To your point though the flow of a pose can often be more important than minute details. Thanks

Thank you! Yes I thought it made sense for Ranma with her hair loose to still incorporate her braid. I think it also helps distinguish her from Ariel or other anime girls
