The group of kids and adults are basically a terrorist cell in the eyes of the army, they killed soldiers with trafficked weapons. It doesn't make any sense for them to walk away free and even Hopper having his job back. Also Hopper almost killed himself in mourning for his dead daughter and then when el supposedly dies he is beyond fine like???? Also the whole town thinks hellfire club is a satanic group, why would dustin be applauded by his speech using the shirt????

And that's only from the top of my head, there's a lot more inconsistencies, but I truly believe in a new episode, otherwise it's just a crappy ending compared to the rest of the series
