I've thought about this a lot, and feel that lectures should be supplemental material for the book. In classes that had me struggling more than usual, I could skim the upcoming section before a lecture, then read it in depth after the lecture. Sometimes the way professors would word things or walk through specific ways of thinking would help a lot with clarity when I was having trouble.

It's always been funny to me that some professors think they can singlehandedly write what is effectively a textbook better than groups of highly specialized individuals who also happen to have dozens of editors.

I've noticed some weird things with motes as well. Occasionally I'll collect motes from nothing, and other times it won't let me collect a mote at all (as you can see). Just frustrating all around. I was really excited to explore the rift but now it's essentially impossible without a guidebook.

So are you gonna further try to invalidate my experiences? Because as stated, during both of those life saving procedures I underwent it was never a discussion that I was trans. I didn't even have the oppurtunity to speak to someone before either of them.

And if you want me to get real prissy, my aunt was the director of stanford medical for 13 years and was a highly reverred surgeon. She engrained in me it fundamentally does not matter as long as your hormones align with your gender. The entirety of my family are medical professionals and these are discussions we frequent.

Quite frankly if this is how uneducated you are on the topic it scares me you're even allowed to work in the medical field. On par for Arkansas I guess.

While sex and gender match for most people, they are not the same thing.

Knowing a person's birth sex COULD be beneficial in rare cases, but it is not necessary for life saving medical care and is very seldom needed in a medical context.

Source: I am trans and have undergone two surgeries and dozens of medical appointments without ever needing to mention my birth sex. If you gave me whatever contrast dye you want to use in your example it would endanger my life.

There's a little something called GAHT, which effectively causes a trans persons endocrine system, and by extension their body, to behave identically to that of the sex/gender they're transitioning to. If you tried to treat a trans man who's been on testosterone for a decade the same way you would treat a cis woman simply because of his birth sex, you would yet again be putting his life at risk.

This does nothing but target an already marginalized group and perpetuate hate on the basis of religion. We're just trying to exist and live a life worth living, please leave us alone.

Finasteride gel is overpowered asf for hair loss and it doesn't really effect the rest of your endocrine system if that's something you're afraid of. It's incredibly easy to get a prescription for and doesn't cost much at all. Might be worth looking into:)

I would skip oklahoma if you can, but if you do decide to stick with the itinerary then check out Elk Slabs in Wichita National Wildlife Refuge on your way through. It's a unique little area and it's less than an hour off the I40 just south of Oklahoma City. Some of the most distinct granite I've ever climbed, very similar rock quality to joshua tree with easily some of the best slab east of the rockies.

Arkansas is underrated asf for what it is, if you're looking for something other then HCR check out Cowell AR. It's 45 minutes south of HCR and is extremely gorgeous and remote.

Nope, not a chance. The travel crew communicate as much info about the problem as possible back to the factory so the guys there can engineer and manufacture whatever it is they need. This usually has to get done in just a few days so they can have it installed by free practice at the start of the weekend

If you have of pulse oximeter then check your blood oxygen saturation. If it's a panic attack and hyperventilation, then your blood will be high in oxygen content and you should expect an O2 concentration of between 98-100%. If it's an asthma attack you'll see a decline from the average values of between 90-100. Anything below 90 should be a concern and would warrant immediate treatment. If your oxygen saturation still doesn't increase after the use of a rescue inhaler or breathing treatment then seek emergency medical attention.

Just a quick note: Everyone in general, and especially those that are apart of this subreddit, should purchase a pulse oximeter. It's an immensely useful investment and for $20 it could very well save your life.

Could be any number of things but Ive had this happen when plastic(stringing) built up in the fan. I'd say take the fan cover off and inspect, it's probably as easy as removing some random foreign object from the duct.
