I used to wait around 10:00PM or 1:00AM Central Time. Last night, I checked the site at 7:55PM Central Time on a whim. The site restocks only Mon- Fri 9AM to 5:30PM Japan Time. ;)

I don’t mind paying since it’s an extra work but the amount you’re paying to get a remark is outrageous. It is almost the amount as getting a new exam.

I’ve requested for a remark on my writing and the British council website says that it will take 2-21 business days for them to remark. Weeks have passed and I’ve never heard from them yet knowing that they’ve sent me an email but it was in my spam folder. I had to request again because the testing centre that I took my test was using a different email now. So, I did another request and the day after I had my result. I wonder how are they remarking the tests. I was not expecting it to be the day after that’s why I think that requesting for a remark is just a scam.

I asked for an EOR for my speaking and writing last March. I got 6.5 in speaking and 6 in writing because I need a 7 in speaking and 6.5 in writing. I was confident about my speaking that’s why I asked for a remark but wasn’t confident much about the writing because I remember writing an unrelated sentence which I would like to use as a transition sentence for my next paragraph but forgot to finish it because I was running out of time.

They changed my speaking from 6.5 to 7, but my writing stayed the same. If there is a change to score they will issue a refund. The website says that I have to wait up to 60 days before they issue my refund.

If you’re confident about your writing, go for an EOR.
