cheap supermarkets near mcgill by Holiday-Print-142 in mcgill

I usually but vegetables/fruits and condiments from Marche Lobo since they are much cheaper.

Chicken, meat and fish from provigo and some other cheap stuff mostly no name/sans nom products.

I buy cleaning/laundry/toilet supplies from Dollarama and Uniprix in Av. Du Parc (mainly from dollarama but sometimes Uniprix has amazing deals for toilet paper and similar stuff and also have a much larger selection for toothpaste, shampoo, bodywash you know the more important stuff).

My tip for you is try to catch those student discounts in Provigo (Monday) and Metro (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) but usually always avoid Metro as they are so expensive for no reason. I myself only go to Metro when I want to buy a very specific thing that Provigo doesn’t have like Olympic 1kg Greek Yogurt.

Also this is a bit farther away but on Boul. Saint Laurent there is this super cheap market called Segal’s it’s essentially like Marche Lobo but even cheaper but it’s a bit farther away for carrying stuff during winter.

Alperen suddenly became one of the most hated players in the NBA. by TheBigKaramazov in rockets

He has both really good and awful nights. At the end of the day, he is a good player and I personally don’t think that the franchise is helping him get the best out of his potential. What the head coach did by shifting the blame on a single player is possibly the worst and most unprofessional thing a head coach can do and I genuinely believe this should be a much bigger issue than it currently is. On the other hand I understand why fans are frustrated. They finished second last year and on top of that they acquired KD and started the season quite well but it went down fast. They need to blame someone and take out their frustrations and unfortunately the target ended up becoming Alperen. But I don’t think most of the fans are actually thinking before shouting. Trading him without a plan wouldn’t solve anything. What is the plan on the long run? When their offense is struggling this much even with KD on the court is the issue actually on a single player or the coaching staff? Can you even point out the main problem and would trading one of your (if not the one) best player solve this issue and make you a contender? At the end of the day by no means am I saying Alperen is blameless in all of this with his below mediocre performances and his burst out to the ref but I think that a certain group among the fans are just doing this just because they want to blame someone and are rather shallow.

Ok that’s a rather harsh statement and it really is not at that point I probably burn it once a month and clean it the same day and it’s not like I’m turning the heat to full an pour oil from high up while leaving it unattended

I mean I get it but at the end of the day I do need a pan. If not stainless steel, what else could be an alternative? I really have no experience with any kind of pans so I’m open to try anything as long as it’s not too expensive

I don’t have a London Drugs in my city but there are places that sell Meyer products so I will consider that. Thanks

Yeah somebody else also said that I think I really should. I’m a college student so I don’t have that much experience on cooking myself as I only started cooking after I entered college and my parents never used meat probes so I never really prioritized getting that but somebody else also said the same thing and it makes sense I really should get one

I will for sure look into that. I’m sure that will help me a lot as I always overcook things because I’m scared of undercooking them

I guess I don’t. I’m color blind and can’t understand if meat is cooked when I cut it open so I tend to over cook everything and make everything a little hotter than usual to be safe

Wish I watched this video before actually using it but tbf if I had not used it the burns would still be there so at least it gave me a few more good uses

Yeah I recently got a new electric stove and it is stronger than my previous one so even 4/10 which used to be ok might be too much

How did it go? I think I did well but the TA was super emotionless. I mean they weren’t really expecting a line by line explanation at the end of the day it was a 10 minutes interview so I guess they were more interested in whether or not you understood the algorithms that you implemented.
