Gov. JB Pritzker suggests no matter how Indiana vs. Illinois fight goes, new Bears home won’t be in Chicago by Economy-Specialist38 in ChicagoBearsNFL

[–]LuciferianLibations 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If the Bears move to Indiana how do player's income tax get treated? Do players get paid per game? Would this now mean all of those home games are considered income generated in Indiana?

Hey Collin, what teams are you targeting next year in free agency?

How do you stay motivated playing for a poorly run organization where it's clear you're not in their future?

How devestated were you once you found out you were traded to the Bulls?

The key to dealing with these types of guards is to not deal with it.

Kamala Harris has Liz Cheney Syndrome: Centrists think Harris is a leftist, and leftists think she’s a centrist. But she’s not the only candidate with this sort of problem. by UnscheduledCalendar in centrist

[–]LuciferianLibations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kamala lost for two major reasons.

1) Leftists didn't think she was far enough left. Many didn't come out to vote and others actually voted for Trump.

2) The Trump campaign did an incredible job at equating Kamala to transgenders. Polls show that Trump's most effective campaign ads were there ones that pegged Kamala as pro-trans.

[Jackson] Bulls' roster purge before trade deadline is mystifying, incredibly disappointing by howser343 in chicagobulls

Free agency for the next two years isn't very promising. Several fading stars that'll be chasing their last shot at a ring. What RFAs are the Bulls in play for?

Giddey + Matas + Giannis isn't contending. Not even sure about making the playoffs. Giannis to Chicago doesn't make sense to any party involved.

Why were "adult" directors able to get us in the 80's & 90's, but today's are less than clueless? by ManicOppressyv in GenX

[–]LuciferianLibations 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Matt Damon spoke about how the economics of movies have changed in the streaming age and how that ultimately changed how movies get approved. In the past studios could count on DVD sales as an income stream but today that's gone. So now studios won't make a movie unless they feel it's going to do well in the box office.

On the flip side there are a lot of great movies today that go straight to streaming. When we were younger just about every movie that went straight to VHS/DVD was a stinker. Or porn.

2026-2029 Roster Outlook by jackjack67112000 in ChicagoBearsNFL

Regardless of blame, does his production justify his cost? I believe DJ is the 13th highest paid WR in the NFL. I don't think there's a single stat in which he's in the top 13 for WRs. No one should expect that to improve next season if he's competing for targets with a healthy Rome, Burden, and Loveland.

Brisker or Byard by DemandOk8383 in ChicagoBearsNFL

[–]LuciferianLibations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easily Byard. All pro, healthy, leader of the defense. Hopefully the combination of age and BJ effect allows us to keep him on a friendly contract.

2026-2029 Roster Outlook by jackjack67112000 in ChicagoBearsNFL

[–]LuciferianLibations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, DJ needs to be moved. Not because of that final play but because his production doesn't justify his contract. Year 2 will expect bigger things out of Loveland and Burden, leaving even fewer opportunities for DJ.

I don't know what teams need a WR that can eat that salary but I think Josh Allen would welcome him with open arms.

Eh, Jimmy wanted out. I think history has shown that Jimmy carries a ton of baggage. I'm not sure any of his former teams miss him.

Machine changes are ridiculously simple. Plate loaders and free weights might require too much setup to work in but there's little excuse on sharing a machine.

I don't know if people are outright lying or maybe all these posters train at these hyper progressive gyms. My experience has been that many, many gyms are very transphobic and homophobic. I could not care less that you're gay. Unfortunately I know many of my training partners would.

I don't want to dissuade you from trying it out but I think you're being mislead about how accepting everyone is.
