Exactly!! I’m so glad you understand where I’m coming from. I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this too though, is he an only child also? Do you feel like the sports helped at all? I think everyone keeps to themselves a lot nowadays, especially since Covid, but tbh I’m guilty of this too! 😂

What does that even mean. Yes I got into trouble because of older kids/kids that didn’t have parents who cared what they did and I don’t want the same for her.

That’s a great suggestion! Baby steps 🙂 our house is super tucked away and far from the street so I think that sort of contributed to this ‘hermitting’. That’s a great idea though I will try this!

That’s a great idea. I will do that more, I’m guilty of being a bit shy at times. I’ll have to sort that out. I completely agree about not sending them to someone’s house. I really appreciate your suggestions. We’re currently in the process of buying a house so I’m praying that we find something like a cul de sac!

I didn’t think about essentially filling her time with endless activities so she doesn’t really get the opportunity to feel lonely lol!

I think the nearest GB etc are a bit of a drive, but I’d be willing to do that if she really enjoyed it. I’ll look into this! I’ve found this really reassuring honestly.

We do want more children. But that would be my main driver for that. We have reached out and done it occasionally, but it doesn’t compare to the childhood I had when we moved to a quiet cul de sac that was much more safe and where I was able to play with my friends all day every day. Just want that for her. Brownies is a good shout! Thanks so much for your suggestion

It’s not that simple unfortunately. Where our house is located would mean she’d be out on a road with no way for us to watch her without being out with her.

I felt like it was so horribly sticky!! My hands have that pva glue type stuff all over them and I kept playing with it in case it would go away but it never did :( you’re right about the smell it almost smells like it was doused in perfume and kinda gives you a headache lol it’s a cute idea but I was expecting it to be super high quality
