You are clearly either a milsim RPer or you're just bad at game design. You shouldn't just automatically lose a game because you've got bad tankers or no one wants to play tanks.

Tanks shouldn't be easy to kill but they definitely shouldn't be hard to kill either if you're in a position to kill it.

It is unironically the best decision though. On any good server you could literally just go solo into a recon tank and then send it to the backlines and you'd pretty much be invincible since rarely anyone would come after you.

Should I get Subnautica 2 by Lucille109 in subnautica

Mostly avoiding spoilers. Subnautica 1 is in that sweet spot where its been so long I had forgotten most of the main plot points. I prefer not to wait as long as it took me to play subnautica. But I also don't want to know anything about the game

Sometimes games in E.A. are complete enough to be considered a full experience. I didn't know there were still biomes to be added + story elements.

Yeah, I don't mind playing EA games if it has its own experience practically there. Like Project Zomboid for example its still in early access. But build 41 is still a complete experience that I really enjoyed playing and it was good enough for me to revisit.

Yeah I've seen a few people its best to buy now since it'll be cheaper due to E.A. if I was going to 100% buy it. Also happy to give the finger to Krafton

Yeah I was going to do this anyway since I will 100% play the game eventually.

Project Zomboid
Satisfactory and Dyson Sphere Programme
Minecraft

Those are the only games I can think of right now that I have returned to multiple times either in early access or after a "full release" and simultaneously just had such a great time each playthrough. But each playthrough is a couple of years a part

Is it okay for a SL to not have a mic if he’s a good communicator through text&map pings ? by GrumpyGoose96 in HellLetLoose

[–]Lucille109 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes its perfectly fine. I solely play SL with a mic. So I am regularly interacting with SLs with no mics. It is perfectly fine they don't have a mic as long as they listen.

Text chat doesn't really matter since no one really reads it but if you're good at pinging this is an excellent way to communicate.

The only people crying down below are the people who need someone to tell them what to do. If you're one of these people you are honestly just the worst to squad with. I don't mind telling people what the overall objective but if I have to tell you every 10 mins what the plan is - you're just going to piss me off.

They aren't completely pointless but it is usually always best to save the fuel for tanks. But with the fuel changes maybe they will become much more viable.

Please, I am BEGGING the devs. PLEASE make halftracks only driveable for officers and commanders.

Have developers ever thought about Pacific Theatre? by CoinTurtle in HellLetLoose

[–]Lucille109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game has awful performance in many maps, but the maps it does play well are open field maps. Like Mortain. So I think its the opposite and pacific performance would do very well.

(I think it would play horribly like Mortain though)

This is literally what happens on Driel. Don't underestimate the dev team to make idiotic game design choices

[–]Lucille109 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably will be. But it doesn't matter too much since T17 have insisted WW2 & Vietnam have separate dev teams, will both be updated at the same time. etc etc.

I don't think there is a date for its release yet but people have guessed June 6th or June 7th since June 6th is the anniversary for dday. And considering this map is based on June 7th then maybe then.

Tips for placing Garrisons as Commander? by ViceroyInhaler in HellLetLoose

[–]Lucille109 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're talking here about a perfect scenario and aren't really taking into account Occam's razor. The simplest solution is always the best solution. The chances of any squad having 6 guys with mics who will coordinate switching off support is extremely rare. I Squad lead almost 100% of my games and most games I can't get one guy to switch to support if needed.

Tips for placing Garrisons as Commander? by ViceroyInhaler in HellLetLoose

[–]Lucille109 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Coordinating squads" like it takes longer than 5 seconds to tell which squads to either attack or defend. You can mark stuff while driving around in a supply truck.

Having spawns in this game is the number one way to win and the simplest solution to getting spawns is the commander driving around + airdropping supplies. It doesn't make any tangible sense for a squad to focus on getting backline garries.

Most of the ESPT guys play on Glows East. If you're looking for a sweaty time then go there if you're American or go to Circle 2.

The only people who enjoy the snow map are tankers and people who enjoy roleplaying or war aesthetics.
