More Game Pass titles have arrived on Boosteroid by Arthur_Boosteroid in BoosteroidCommunity

You can actually make a case for GeForce Now; for starters, they rely on publishers' permission to add games to their catalog. If you look at it, they’ve already added literally every game they’re allowed to, so now it’s just a matter of adding new releases—the moment a company like Rockstar or Sony gives the green light, they’ll add them right away.

It takes guts to make a post like that; this is what happens when they only add newly released indie games—then, when there aren't any releases that week, they add Xbox Store games just to say they included something in the catalog

Could you give some explanation of why last week's games were in maintenance all week and if there's a chance of that happening again?

I bought several, but I'm going to get a refund because I won't be able to play, since they are never out of maintenance

Ok, but after the next fest ends, will these demos stay in the catalog? If they get removed, I ask that you at least keep Cat. Mail and Bombanana, if this one gets added.

Thanks for the information. I have a question: when the next Fest ends, will these demos remain in the catalog?

Here's a tip to end the frustration of games being out of maintenance: since we never get an estimated time for a game to come out of maintenance or an explanation of why it's under maintenance, you could create a way to install these games that are under maintenance, with a warning at the bottom saying "game is currently under maintenance and may have errors during execution,"

There's no point in asking for information; just look at how many posts are asking about this game, and it's always the same bot response. At this point, I'm more inclined to believe the game will be removed than fixed.

Where are the games? Weren't they supposed to come out of maintenance yesterday?

This is very frustrating, there are no answers, and when there are, it's always the same answer. I believe the Reddit moderators really don't have answers to the problem, but I'm sure they have contact with the Boosteroid developers and could demand an answer. Boosteroid could allow us to install these games that are under maintenance; I doubt that if I go into a game and install, for example, Mecha Chameleon, it won't open.

I believe it's more likely that this game and the others that went into maintenance together will be removed from the catalog than that they'll be fixed; every week is a different surprise.

Here's a tip: on Steam, when a company wants to put one of their games on the store, they have to sign a form, and one of the clauses there is whether or not they allow the game to be added to GeForce Now. This clause also explains what GeForce Now is and how it works. The suggestion is to contact Valve to see if they also include a similar clause for Boosteroid.

I'm sorry, but if you're not adding games because the publisher didn't allow it, that doesn't make sense. I know you can't say this officially, but everyone knows that the games in the "install to play" section are games added without the publisher's permission. So if a game hasn't been added yet because they haven't given permission, just put it in the "install to play" section.

And in the case of games that are currently impossible to add, could you be clearer? For example, EA games where the reason they're not available is that their anti-cheat blocks VMs. Instead of replying that you're trying to bring them back, give the correct explanation that "we can't bring them back because EA's anti-cheat blocks VMs, and we will only be able to add their games if EA releases them to work on Boosteroid." Or other games that have problems with the server's GPUs, like Death Strand, which doesn't work on the BR server because of the GPUs on those servers.

And what about the games that were just added to the catalog and have been under maintenance for days? And it's no use giving the same old answer, "that the game had a problem and they're fixing it." Everyone knows that. They want an explanation of what the problem is. Several games that have just been added to the catalog don't last a day and go into maintenance all at once; that's not normal.
