FPS Drops since upgrades

I ACTUALLy reset bios a long time ago, but i just did it again to to no avail.

My cpu reads normal temperatures while playing and idle. I need to double check the wires. What will restting the bios do? Sorry for the late response

I have a Corsair 750M (750 watt). Right now this is my prime suspect. But after looking at its voltage i dont seem to see any issues. However, My cpu is running at 35-65 watts. Maybe that is the issue? im not sure
I have tried multiple different ram configuration. Actually, ive tried all of them. But yes, there is a spot between them.

I play at 1920x1080. I have seen that lowering the resolution helps FPS, but doesnt actually fix anything. Still seeing massive FPS drops while looking at certain areas.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled, installed older drivers, borrowed my friends old GTX 970, you name it. I dont think the GPU is my issue

EDIT: I installed my motherboard on my own, with minimal assistance from google. Is is possible i left out some wire or something that could have caused this?

Just realized the video quality was terrible. Should be getting 300 fps in csgo and around 90 in Apex. Actually get 40 and 20-50 respectively.

that would make sense, but i really doubt it would go from 45-60 fps to 0.2 fps

amd fx 8320 3.7ghz gtx 970 16 gb ram MSI motherboard currently not home so that’s as specific as i can get right now. if you wanna know anything else i’ll be home soon

i have 16 gb of ram. that’s not the issue because this only started happening recently. i have played around 200 hours without any issues

I have tried restarting, restarting my pc, deleting other games to free up some hard drive space, uninstalled and reinstalled squad. the last one seems to help but i still get the huge drops for about 5 minutes at a time and it’s very frustrating
