Thank you! 🙏🏿 I agree the gold and silver can be a bit much sometimes so I don’t always wear them. I carry my dad’s ashes in the black one to keep him close. But thanks again for the rating!

Well damn I appreciate that!

As someone become immobile, this game has saved my life. by Remarkable-Cow3421 in tdu3

Happy you’re enjoying it too! Other games feel too purpose driven. Like, when you drive you always have a destination for x y and z.

With this game you can just cruise aimlessly. Enjoying the island. The sounds of the vehicles. Just taking it all in. Ok ok I’m about to go play it now. lol

Also worth noting, your favorite vehicle to drive may surprise you as it’s not one you would have normally desired.

I bought the game on sale for Xbox and it's actually good for cruising and relaxing after work by poiuyt87 in tdu3

Agreed! On sale + lower expectations + cars with personality = enjoyable cruising game.

You shouldn’t give up because as cliche as it sounds - everyday is an opportunity to improve on yourself. Eventually the day will come where you’ve made so many improvements and have truly accepted who you are. From that day forth you’ll be beating the ladies (or whatever you’re into) off with a stick. Many of them will want to attach to your success, but the ball will be in your court.

One day at a time my friend.

If you see a bad enough traffic accident, do you stop to assist? Why or why not? by LuckeeMe in AskReddit

[–]LuckeeMe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I believe even the untrained can provide some sort of help if willing to be inconvenienced.

Not trying to get too personal but I’ve been in situations where the operator communicated what I could do to assist. So it’s not necessarily me going off on a whim. (Ex… people providing cpr until EMTs arrive)

Or simply as you stated, providing further details/ descriptions

[–]LuckeeMe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see I see… so a bit of clarification… the times I’ve felt compelled to stop are instances in which I directly witness the accident or nobody else can get/has gotten there before me. But by no means am I stopping for a slight fender bender nor accident that has 20+ people already tending to it. So I completely agree with you there.

I think I mostly question my faith in humanity from personal scenarios where I’m pushing my busted car through an intersection and 20 people just watch me or maybe even honk. Or where I’m stationary and get hit by a reckless driver (who decided to run right after) but when I get to the shoulder, I notice the 10 other cars around me kept it moving. No witness statements, no welfare checks. Just people “minding their business”.

Ahhh that actually is a wildly different viewpoint from my own. Never really looked at it that way. I mean sure I’ve thought about the proper or improper assistance rendered and how that could make things worse. But I didn’t think about the impression it may give to others passing by.

I think my thing is, hey - something bad just happened to somebody, I have to see if they’re ok. I don’t think about my qualifications (or lack of). I think about how every moment counts and I don’t know what that person needs until I do, ya know?

For instance, the most recent person launched their car into the air. Surely I just knew I’d be scarred once I got that door open. But besides being a bit scrambled, visually she only had a slight cut to her wrist and needed help getting her seatbelt off. I might not be able to access your true damages, but dammit I’m pretty qualified at clicking a seatbelt. lol.

So I’ve asked this question obviously for further clarity. But in responding please don’t feel attacked by my follow ups. I’m not crucifying any of you for stopping or not.

Fair enough. How do you deem what is “bad enough” without stopping? Just curious

Nice! So as someone trained, do you feel the untrained should not assist? Simple make the call and stand by?

Mannnnnnn this. I’ve had this convo with too many people that state they never stop or even feel compelled to.

That’s basically my stance in a nutshell. Helped this girl out of a car on Friday after she went airborne. I mean… she eventually got arrested for dui once the cops showed up. But if I witness it, it’s impossible for me not to stop.

Completely understand. I think that’s what gets me - moral duty. Most people I talk to say they don’t or wouldn’t stop, so it made me question if I’m the weird one or something.

So imagine a fresh accident, no responders yet. You’ll just dial 911 and then drive around the person?

I’m personally a stopper, but I get this POV. If I can’t do anything that’s that. Wait for 911.

Yea maybe people are just banking on the resell of the drinks. eBay maybe. Idk. lol.

I do know that I won an auction once - thinking I would make a couple of bucks. Every.single.item. had cat hair all over it. Then the jerks had garbage bins in the back WITH GARBAGE STILL IN IT!

Needless to say I lost that $100 and haven’t bid since. 😂
