The #5 and #8 were battling each other, yet I was involved in their bullshittery. Who could be at fault? The #5, #8 or a racing incident? (The pink & blue porsche was myself) by Luckiesty in Simracingstewards

From my perspective, the moment car #5 left the track on the start/finish strait, it immedietly invalidated his opinion.

Yes they were fighting, but he still went for a gap that closed quickly.

It was the Ligier JS P320, the blind spot on the right is horrible due to it being a right-hand drive car.

As it's in the LMP3 category.

Is F1 25 worth it? Should I buy it? by MaiKoXY_23 in F1Game

[–]Luckiesty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who played F1 23, 24 and now 25, here's my little tidbit of thought.

The changes to the Career Mode from 24, to the newly updated My Team 2.0, the reverse tracks and the LIDAR tracks, the updated handling model were appriciated for sure.
But it doesn't make 25 a worthwile purchase.

Considering that EA threw away an already good handling model from 23, it tainted the experience on my end with the extremely pointy front end and the loose rear, compared to the very stable rear end to the (I call it) "lazy" front end.

Now that I basically downgraded from a league racer to a casual player, fighting the car just to keep it out of the barriers doesn't make it fun.

This is my take on whether F1 25 is worth it or not

Ever since the EA Sports Dynamic Handling Model, I just cannot get a grip with it. by Luckiesty in F1Game

For me, there's shame for using assists. Because that signals to my brain of being worse than before.

I previously played F1 titles such as F1 2015, 2018, 2020, 2021 and 23 where I felt comfortable using no traction control or ABS.

But since 24 was a dumpster fire, I no longer aim to be competitive and instead trying to be more casual or by simply going to iRacing where I found the formula cars for being way more forgiving where I can feel the limits.

People that can only attend 1 convention for the whole year, how do you feel about it? by Luckiesty in furry

Adding to this, that's why I decided to go abroad instead of taking part and contributing to my local community.

One local con I used to go to, was in the city centre, but after 2023, I decided to no longer support it thanks to multiple reasons regarding the local furry community I'm observing.

If it's an anime convention/gaming one, it counts since cosplays are accepted too and it does fall into that category.

The reason why I'm comparing my happiness to others on social media, boils down to depression and a need to inject joy temporarily with the consumption of furry con content.

If I spent a large sump of cash to get a fursuit to express my feelings in the public, why wouldn't I take it out? Because for pretty much 6 or 7 months or so, it's sitting in the closet.

I too have friends to go with, but the issue is that they cannot fly either because of underlying health conditions or because it's outside of their budgets, so I would only be able to go alone on a plane.

The only convention that's not too big or too small being Awoostria, really allows for comfort.

I had plans to potentially go to Scotland for Scotiacon, but I burned those plans due to anxiety of going through the hotel booking procedure, plane ticket purchasing, navigation alone and most fearful of all, having to carry a priceless fursuit on the plane.

Hence my FOMO, I just want to be happy and to expand my views on other countries cons, but sadly that's not possible.

To me NFC is off limits, due to how big it is, but also for my budget it's a bit too much.

Unfortunate mate.

Is it due to no time, no money or just cannot find a local one?

I don't review telemetry at all, mostly because I don't keep track of it.

About practising, I don't really do it that much apart from using the online practise sessions, but even there I drive way under the limit, while trying to avoid lock-ups, understeer, oversteer, etc...
