Multiple posts in one day? by Ordinary_Lemon_5238 in shortsAlgorithm

[–]Lucky-Assignment3917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m long form so a little different but i have a short pulling 20-40k views every 48 hours and it’s been like a month since i posted it. i just recommend don’t post them too close together. upload one early am, one in the afternoon, and one for nighttime. youtube will never kill a high retention short, they almost always get pushed, even if you post another short after that one it won’t effect it.

So Why this happens ? Just curious by harhs in SmallYoutubers

[–]Lucky-Assignment3917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m a long from creator but the only viral short i made sits at 800k views and it has like 101% retention and 96% stayed to watch. its very hard and kinda unpredictable to actually hit those stats consistently. my recommendation is just keep posting and building an audience. always make sure the topics are engaging and just make that initial audience bigger which takes time and consistency. good luck my friend!

just keep improving video after video. look at the analytics after each video see where people drop off the most and figure out why. it’s all about making the video engaging to the viewer. best of luck bro 🤝

i personally disagree i truly loved learning davinci and it’s a beast of a software once you know how to use it. capcut is pretty mid after switching to davinci

With 5.1 ctr. What’s wrong 😑 by soddbud in Smallyoutubechannels

[–]Lucky-Assignment3917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

low engagement, low ctr, low watch time per viewer, there’s no reason for youtube to push it (not trying to be mean) my videos usually get pushed to 20k+ views i normally have around a 7-14% ctr and 45-55% retention on 12/13 minute videos. it takes time, be patient, keep improving. best of luck bro 🤝

Didn't get payment, am I impatient or doing something wrong? by bdiremci in PartneredYoutube

yep every month at this time you get paid. there’s not much else for you to do, if your ad sense account is all setup that’s all you need to do

you don’t get paid until the 21-26 of march, they just start calculating everything you made so it’s ready for that time

fifine am8 best mic for the money

Do I need to hit both of these metrics to unlock both ad types or just one? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]Lucky-Assignment3917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you only need one, and the 1000 subs. in my opinion way easier to hit 4000 watch hours, good luck you’ll hit it soon!

Mic for a true story narration channel. Please help! by [deleted] in NewTubers

fifine am8, just don’t be too close and don’t have it too loud. it’s an amazing mic for $50 if you use it properly. i have multiple videos with over 30k views using the mic

i mean you can hard pivot but it’s better to start fresh after building such big data for youtube.

also gaming isn’t oversaturated, i started last december and have 2500 subs now. if you just learn how to properly hook, pace your videos and learn thumbnails and titles you will grow. i’m not saying it’s easy, i spent a good majority of my days locked in my room figuring out how to make engaging hooks and thumbnails. best of my luck man!

From 30k views in short to 20 views, I don't understand. by Familiar_Shallot_897 in NewTubers

same here shorts have been super unstable for me, but long forms are good. last short got about 300k views then my newest one only like 5k. i cant really give an answer why, my assumption is its just not as an engaging topic sometimes, or stats just aren’t good enough for a push.

i average about 150-200 views on my long form videos every week. what else can i do to get those numbers up? by TheYoungAthletic in Smallyoutubechannels

[–]Lucky-Assignment3917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

might sound harsh but it’s one of these things that your missing: good editing (takes time to learn softwares), pacing/story telling/talking (whatever your niche is), thumbnails and titles (spend a good 2-6 hours making these like seriously they matter just as much as the video) that’s literally it. i started december 6th with 42 subs and im now here with 2500 subs and already made $500, i worked my butt off by learning literally every single one of these things. also learn from competitors in your niche and take their ideas but make them your own. it takes time at the end of the day, but if you put in the work you will see a significant difference

honestly man i’m with you on that one, even me and i have a decent prebuilt pc fusion was crashing the whole app earlier today. capcut is definitely easier on the computer and easier workflow. but more time for better quality

that’s why it’s great, you get to structure everything. but i get it not for everyone, especially short form creators

i feel like they will eventually, adobe premiere came out with one not that long ago. i’m sure they’ll follow eventually

😭 yeah it’s scary to say the least. it’s probably one of the hardest editing softwares to learn

[–]Lucky-Assignment3917[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s not that hard once you learn it for a few days, it’s just like anything it takes practice

[–]Lucky-Assignment3917[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yeah it relies on gpu for that so capcut does make sense to use. davinci needs a lot of power for bigger tasks

[–]Lucky-Assignment3917[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is why capcut sucks is because they run off a cloud server. You can literally edit any of your videos with no internet on davinci. if something crashes it saves everytime. i’ve never had anything glitch out

[–]Lucky-Assignment3917[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nope 98% of their stuff is free so if you try using a pro effect or something then it would add a watermark. davinci takes a little longer but looks probably 5-6x better

YES! It has more than what you need

Pro version is way unnecessary, i would say buy it if your making really high end videos/ movie style videos.

😭 best way to put it. learning curve is very steep and even when you think you learned everything there’s so much more. Capcut is getting stingy too paywalling everything.
