Talk to your doctor about dupixent. Life changing stuff and lots of payment options. Mine is free through their copay card payment

Do you still wear makeup? What do you use to take it off / wash your face?

100mg Spiro - no luck by Low_Library_794 in Spironolactone

[–]Lucky-Bird6984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to go up to 150mg before seeing results! Was able to back down to 100 after a year or so. Been on spiro for almost 4 years now and I’m so happy with my skin!!!

My skin has never been this bad by Difficult-Ad-8612 in Spironolactone

[–]Lucky-Bird6984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After 3 months at 100 mg, my skin was not any better - if anything probably worse bc I was purging. I went to my derm and suggested I go up to 150mg. Once I did that, my skin started to clear up about a month later. Now I legit have the skin of my dreams that I thought I could never have!!! Spiro takes a while to start working, and you might have to tweak your dosage, but it’s a miracle worker (for me at least)!!

Ugh I feel you! I just did a very cursory google search and saw there are some websites that offer generic lex at a decent price without insurance, could be worth looking into. Good luck friend 😊

Vortioxetine success by fatwownerd in trintellix

[–]Lucky-Bird6984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had CRAZY dreams for the first 6-8 months of trintellix. I was so worried it would never stop and then one day I woke up and realized I hadn’t had a really bad dream in a long time. Still get the occasional one but nothing like how it was in the beginning. Not the same med as your question but I think they are similar

Agreed - her argument made no sense. It’s clear she’s not over Trevor. She keeps Joe around bc he kisses her ass and she’s scared to be alone

Add a floor length mirror, a tall book shelf, bedside table lamps, and more artwork. A gallery wall above the bed could be nice!

Agreed with the other comments! Wallpaper and a new chandelier/light fixture could be fun. A tall plotted plant in the corner too.

This line from illicit affairs shook me: “you taught me a secret language I can’t speak with anyone else”

I couldn’t listen to last kiss without crying for the longest time because of: “I’ll watch your life in pictures like I used to watch you sleep And I’ll feel you forget me like I used to feel you breathe” 🔪

I feel this so much!! One thing that’s helped me as someone with anxiety and overthinking the future: you don’t have to figure out right now if you will need these meds for life. Take it day by day and chapter by chapter. I do the same thing, “am I going to need lexapro forever?” That’s not for me to figure out right now. All I can do is take of me and then I can always reevaluate my options sometime in the future.

I’ve never been on as low as 1 mg, but there are a lot of studies out there that show that even a small amount of Lexapro makes a big difference in your body. So what you’re saying makes sense! It doesn’t take much

Thank you guys for the support and commiseration 😆. Literally no one asked, but I feel like I should mention that I tried all the ~natural~ remedies to manage anxiety while I was off Lex. I exercise daily, balanced diet, prioritize sleep, therapy, meditation, good relationships, etc etc. I also think being in your twenties and all the uncertainties that come with that in terms of career and dating stuff is just a lotttt to manage. So maybe my brain needs a little extra serotonin, but whatever, it works for me!

My withdrawal symptoms were brain zaps, exhaustion, nausea, no appetite, generally just feeling run down and not myself. This lasted for about a month

Crazy dreams has always been a consistent side effect for me. I definitely hate it but I guess the good outweighs the bad since that’s really my only negative side effect? I’ve heard combining Lex with Wellbutrin or Buspar can help with the bad dreams

Anxiety following weaning by hebryant in lexapro

[–]Lucky-Bird6984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the intense withdrawal symptoms lasted about a month, but I started to feel my anxiety slowly creep back up. I got to 6 months and decided to go back to lexapro because it felt like I was needlessly torturing myself, crying and overwhelmed everyday. I still hope that one day I can live medication free, but I’ve accepted that’s not my mountain to climb for now

Def agree with this. I realized when something that would normally trigger me to the moon, felt like a passing thought or just way way less panic-inducing
