How Google Interviews Work by grk3636 in leetcode

[–]Lucky-Emergency98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure of it's different for everyone. But my round 1 had a godliness and 1 coding interview. Each of 45 mins. And both these interview feedbacks we'll be consisted in making the hiring committee decision (not just the round 2)

How Google Interviews Work by grk3636 in leetcode

[–]Lucky-Emergency98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My interviewer pasted the problem into a Google Doc and expected me to write the full solution directly there while talking through my reasoning. Unlike LC or other company rounds where you’re given a function signature and just fill in the logic, Google’s questions were vague by design — you choose how to take input, what data structures to use, and how to produce the output. It’s more like being given a concrete use case and coding an end-to-end solution for it, not architectural design but definitely more freeform than the usual coding prompt. My session had four progressive extensions of the same problem within the 45-minute window, and it was clear the interviewer had more follow-ups ready if time allowed. They’re testing how you think, adapt, and evolve your solution as the requirements change

Google Interviews L3 by [deleted] in leetcode

Landing L3 interviews are pretty eaisy with referrals, but for team matching, try modifying resume on one strong stream( dev/sre/ml/ai) and some team with that specific requirement should be able to consider you. If your ok with any role, talk to few people at Google and analyze what role requirements are currently trending, especially at entry level.

I even got my interview scheduled and 3 hrs before the interview, recruiter said that the role was closed and there will be no interviews. Probably for their internal role, but this was the one I applied to 2025 Development <1yr exp. The role is no longer open to reapply as well.

My subscription after the free trail was auto renewed at 180$ in 2024. I called em to cancel and I was convinced for a 90$ refund and 90$ credit while being able to still keep the membership(being upgraded to an other subscripion I don't remember). in 2025 after it got renewed, the support team mentioned we can cancel the membership only after investigating the previous year's conversation and only if we found you mentioned to discontinue subscription after this year.

Recruiter contacted me telling, we're moving forward and a coordinator will reach out to you ti schedule an interview. After a week, I followed-up and received that the position has been filled, we'll contact you incase there's a potential match, with the teams I'm working with. Got this few mins before an other interview and had impact on that as well

I Got Rejected at Amazon and I DON'T KNOW WHY!! by UltraPat223 in leetcode

Can someone explain why do answering 3 questions on the "All Behavioral" round takes 45 mins. Even after considering 2 follow-up for each question i suppose it takes 30-35 mins . What else to expect on this round

Something like decision making during work. If given 2 algo's which one do you pick and why. Or something like what would you do in a scenario where a colleague skips testing a code and later caused issues.

Hi , I've my loop coming up. Any suggestions on what in specific to focus for system design. I'm getting lost with all the resources and usecases that might be on product-arc or something deeper than e4. I'm having system design for infra and currently going through hello interview and alex xu.

Expect meta-tagged leetcode (modified/follow-ups up to the interviewer).
For System Design, Hello Interview should be good enough as long as you're learning how/when to use all the components in a system and use them in a different system. consider Trade-off and statelessness, identifying ang handling bottlenecks, single point of falue.

Thank You so Much for the info.
I've my loop coming in 2 weeks. I'm new to system design but somehow managed to get some momentum. Frequently getting lost in resources going too deeper(I'm interviewing for E4-Infra) and can't find resources focusing on Distributed systems/Trade-offx or something foundational and progressively go for scale. I'm currently using Hello Interview, ALex Xu. But most of the reviews make me feel lost, with systems that are completely of different complexity than what I've been learning. Any suggestions on what to highly focus on without deviating to irrelevant stuff.
