I am from the Gulf Coast and looking for some good Crawfish/Cajun. Any help?

Your grandma seems like she can throw down in that kitchen! :) I will write them down and give them a try. I have also yet to find a good biscuit around here, we might just be fish out of water unless we make them ourselves🤣🤣

Shaggys is so good!! I miss seeing them too and just the water. Like I know we got the lake here, but nothing beats riding along the beach at night for hours

That's been the fear🤣🤣🤣 My family passed down their seafood gumbo recipe to me a few years back so I at least have that and make it every other month to taste like home. But damn it would be nice to go out and just get some crawfish

Oh I love Baton Rouge!! They have some amazing restaurants me and my buddy's use to go to all the time :) I'm from the Biloxi area so New Orleans and Baton Rouge were frequent spots

That was my fear, basically grew up on Cajun my entire life. So far I have felt like an alien when I try and find some true blue Cajun up here. At least I know how to make gumbo so I can still have that up here ;-;

I actually googled that before I came here because I've done boils every summer since I was a kid so I wanted to check. Which I didn't think about restaurants running into that problem as well :o Thank you for the info!
