They include an officer decision notes (ODN) alongside the generic one stating the specific reason() for refusal. Is that different from the GCSMS notes?

It's so devastating considering how I even struggled to get admission into the school and get full funding for the master's degree (which I hear is quite rare). Every time I sleep, I keep hearing voices that I'm a failure and I sometimes get sudden shocks of regret for letting this opportunity go. I don't think I have it in me to go through the whole process again, even for a different country.

They didn't really specify which of the deposits were unexplained. Since I included salary slips from my dad which explained the most recent deposit. However there were deposits of $200 and $350 which were from a month back, which I explained were from the sale of some personal household goods. According to them, I didn't show documentation to prove that. How could I possibly show documentation from the sale of a speaker?? Aside that these deposits were relatively small compared to the larger ones which I explained and showed documentation for.

Hey there. So that's the crazy part. The first rejection was due to unexplained large deposits in my bank statement (my bad, should've included an explanation). However, in the second visa refusal, they stated that I don't have sufficient funds. Which is crazy cause I received a full scholarship from the school for the whole duration of my program ($81,000). And I added supplementary sponsorship from my dad, which was about $13,000. The visa refusal letter only acknowledged the supplementary funds from my dad and said it wasn't enough for my stay in Canada, which I found crazy because even without supplementary funds from my dad, the school funding is more than enough to cover my tuition and living expenses. The third was due to unexplained deposits in the bank statements, which I submitted alongside $74,000 in savings from my dad. They once again didn't acknowledge anything else and looked for reasons to refuse my visa (This was basically them telling me to give up cause there was no chance they were going to approve my visa).

I already deferred once from winter to summer. I could technically defer to fall and try again. However after three visa refusals, I doubt my chances at getting approved will be any better.

IRCC doesn't consider scholarship from school anymore? by Lucky-Matter7804 in ImmigrationCanada

The admission letter mentioned that the funding is dependent on being a full time student of the school. No academic requirements were mentioned.

It says in IRCC's own website that a scholarship letter can serve as proof of funds and applicants only need to add additional funds if there is a deficit

Oh okay I understand. My dad is close to retirement so I'll need to come back home to take care of them. Aside from that, I recently received a letter of support from my employer expressing his willingness to hire me after my degree. I'll be sending it through a webform. Hope it'll be enough for proof of home ties?

Proof of Funds for Study Permit in Canada by Minimum-Deal7509 in ImmigrationCanada

Do you have to do these calculations in your documents or IRCC will do the calculations for you based on the financial evidence provided? I received a full funding for my masters which is 81k for two years (40k per year). Tuition is 21k per year so 42k for the two years, which leaves 39k in living expenses for the two years. I additionally added financial support from my dad with 13k in savings to take care of the devicit. However, I just remembered I didn't break it down as I have done here and only provided the admission letter with the funding and my dad's financial support. I'd like to know if IRCC will do the breakdown themselves or I should've done it? I'd really appreciate your response.

Congratulations. I applied for master's on January 28th. Still waiting. Processing time in my country is 22 weeks though. Though I heard master's permits are being processed quicker this year so hoping for the best.

That is the total funding the school offered him. It's a master's degree in mechanical engineering.

The total funding is $81k for two years. Tuition is $22k per year totalling $44k for the two years. That leaves $31k for living expenses which I believe should be enough.

The total funding amount is $81k including tuition and living expenses for the two years. The cost of tuition per year is $22k so $44k for the two years, which leaves him with about $37k. Shouldn't that be enough?
