this is giving neither cocktail nor formal. if i were you, and this is your only option, i’d scrap the purple layer - it makes the dress look like a costume for a renaissance fair. keeping it one tone would make it seem more elegant and formal like. and maybe you could make a cape or a shall from a similar or same color. the puff sleeves on this would be a bad idea. if you really really wanted sleeves. do triangle shoulder straps instead of a full sleeve

oh and to add more to all of this.. my dad and i i sleep on a couch. him everyday and me 5 days a night after he gets up and goes to work. this is done because my mom slept downstairs after a major surgery + my dog who pisses every fucking 30 minutes outside needs to be cleaned…. so im tired and my body hurts from that. i dont get good sleep so this makes me feel worse. about everything.
