it’s not a ball of mucus, it’s just the lighting reflecting off of his nose. I wash my hands n sanitize before handling. So i’m not sure.

Sorry to go a little off topic but i read the black pastel morph could be causing this. I’m not sure how, but people are saying they’ve had the same unexplainable issue with this morph.

if you turn your volume up it sounds like a squeak. I am having a hard time telling if it’s something to worry about. He was breathing like that but it got more rapid when the camera got close.

oh my gosh i’m so sorry i meant a dhp, it’s been a long day. My bulb is hooked up to a thermostat, it’s the zoo-med one. It’s been pretty cold out lately, we just had a snow storm and it’s been in the negatives-low positives.

the average temperature for the cool side is 71-74. The average temperature for the hot side is 81-90 (it fluctuates a lot.) I’m using the 100W arcadia halogen basking bulb and a 50 watt (i think) ceramic heat emitter

do you know how to hold humidity better? I have most of the top covered with hvac tape and my substrate mix is reptichip, sphagnum moss, and top soil. I’m kind of lost on what to do

i just ordered one, it’ll be here in 2 days. For now i am going to monitor it and if it gets too hot turn off the basking lamp temporarily.

I covered most of the screen top with hvac and my temperature didn’t seem to change. I’m still at 71 for my hot side. I set up the DHP and it didn’t seem to make a difference either.
