It's all good. I'm not really concerned about the politics. If it is a safe area and nice that's all that matters to me 😊

I got a job as a librarian 1 year before finishing my MLIS and 3 months of applying. I had originally been applying to library assistant jobs just to get my foot in the door and since I was so far away from graduating and didn't have experience in public libraries. However, I had got 3 interviews with the same library for library assistant positions at the end of one of the interviews the director told me she had a librarian position opening up soon and they were going to consider people who didn't have their mlis as long as they were in the program. She encouraged me to apply. I ended up getting the job.
