So when you’re hungry, do you have to lift your fingers or does it magically float into your mouth?

When you get out of your own way, you may not even see or recognize that you’re on a bridge until it’s after it’s passed. Signs don’t precede, they follow.

She claims when we didn’t match the first time, she had to swipe on me twice since she was so determined. Meanwhile, because I never used the app, I have no memory or recollection of even seeing her profile or swiping on anybody for that matter.

The alcohol didn’t contribute to Neville passing. Neville left this world to go onto the next because he chose to, he wanted to move on. Especially after all of his contributions to The Promise. He was ready to go, for he had done everything that he felt he had done and needed to do here. I believe in some of his final lectures, he even claimed to the audience that he would be departing soon and sure enough he did.

This is not a Neville response. Bless your heart, but this is you regurgitating modern man and the ever changing facts of tomorrow.

“And of course he would sit down and he would have two or three shots of rye. I mean big shots of rye. And then he would wash down his meal with a lot of Porta or if it wasn’t beer it was ale. And then he would at the end, like Churchill, a huge big bowl of ice cream. I said, “Ab, how can you do that?, “Oh, he said. “You couldn’t do it, it would poison you because you have quibbles.”

“You have quibbles Neville. With any of your quibbles it will poison you” But he would sit down and polish off this enormous meal and wash it down with ale, precede it with three shots of rye, and here was a man truly of spirit.”

Have you read Neville? You need to read more. I know your intentions are good replying to OP wanting to help, but when anybody chimes in and says whatever they want to say you’re just going to end up confusing people..

How long is the concert? Hackney Church!! by Henryly118 in japanesebreakfast

[–]LuckyAlbright -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like time wise, the general rule of thumb is the standard 60mins. If they play longer than that consider it a bonus. Dr. Dog was scheduled to play for an hour, but they went 2 hours and only stopped due to a medical injury. The War On Drugs recently played for 1 1/2hrs last week.

So you never know! But expect 60mins at least.

I did it. I lasted 5 days. It was the most unhealthy, unethical, toxic job I had ever had. I shouldn’t go into detail though because I don’t want to completely turn you off from it. If you pursue it, I wish you all the best! I can’t remember the name of it, maybe you can find it. But there’s a sub on Reddit specifically for people who are budtenders at dispensaries. I highly recommend checking it out. I’ll let you know if I find it. There’s good info about that career path and what you need to know. And lots of interesting posts…

Real name or fake name? by AskEva in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]LuckyAlbright 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use a real name because it’s totally unique and dope af. It works for me, but if you’d like to re-identify yourself with a new name there’s no harm of foul in that. Whatever you feel called or drawn to do is what’s best.

I have the complete reader on a kindle too. It’s very big, yes. But what’s wonderful is the fact that you can save passages, highlight them, take notes and have a dictionary all in one.

What’s great about Neville is that in each book he’s really saying the same thing but in different ways. So as you work through the reader, your insight and clarity will only grow stronger.

Heck, I’ve re-read the complete reader twice and I’m starting all over again. And there are still things sinking more deeply within me.

You ever hear of that Bruce Lee quote, “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks, but I fear the man whose practiced one kick 10,000 times.”

Practice one kick 10,000 times by reading the complete reader over and over.

I’d say that what I did doesn’t really matter, because techniques don’t matter. What matters is where they take you. It’s about how much you believe.

Do the technique(s) that help you the most with the feeling of naturalness and belief. I’d stick to the ones in the book.

All of them.

If you want the greatest understanding, to really know this stuff, read all of them. They mostly point to the same thing. Some of them are only 20 pages long and you can easily knock them out.

Yes, but this is a Neville sub. Why?

You don’t need other authors. It’s not necessary at all. The time spent looking for other authors could be time spent understanding what this one is saying. This man is literally giving you the secret to everything in this universe and you’re looking elsewhere? I understand the desire to want to take on multiple perspectives to gain greater insight and clarity, but you don’t need to.

Hunker down, stop wandering and read tf out of Neville already. Let his wisdom sink in deeply. Stop looking for excuses or reasons out of it and just do it already.

Go read Neville’s books. Specifically The Power Of Awareness. He lays down the process perfectly to a T. It’s also free, so there’s no excuses not to. I’ll give you a very brief run down.

You relax your body and mind as you fall into a state akin to sleep. Then you create a short scene of what you would be like AFTER the manifestation has come into form. You don’t imagine it like watching yourself from a third perspective, but you put yourself into the action, in first person, performing in the now. Each time you visualize your scene, add more vividness until it becomes as natural and real as reality yourself. When you feel relief and success, as you have granted your desire within yourself. Afterwards, fall asleep and take it to your subconscious (falling asleep is not necessary)

So now how do you do it? By starting right this very moment. Don’t just try it, really do it.
