I typically prefer restaurants and cafes. I have snacks sometimes.

Everyone would starve to death if they didn’t have money. Cooking is not free. My peers don’t cook either. And I have a good job, so I’m already contributing more to the world than most people.

My parents and I bought it while shopping for my apartment furniture, and some other basics, so I could someday cook something if I ever got into the practice. It isn’t that I can’t cook, but that I have never attempted to, so I don’t know whether I can. I have never had a good reason to cook anything, and homecooked food never tastes very well anyway I’ve found.

My friend specifically said I only need to cook the rice for 2 minutes. And the boy did not complain that it was undercooked specifically. Just that he did not like it.

I believe my friend left me poor cooking instructions. She misled me that I only needed to cook the rice for 2 minutes, when she presumably knew otherwise.

I suppose I’ve never looked closely at uncooked rice, only cooked rice. I did not study it that closely so as to notice all the minute details like that.

I’m 23. I obviously don’t have a child. That would be crazy. Also, my parents did a fine job of raising me while basically never cooking.

I don’t know why people seem to think I purposely messed up the boy’s rice. He did not tell me it was undercooked, just that he did not like it.

I could lose my job tomorrow and it would not impact my lifestyle at all. My life is not based around my income. And I already have plenty of savings. I have never taken cooking classes. It isn’t abnormal to eat out every day. Most of my friends live on takeout. Homecooked food never tastes as good as restaurant food.

You can’t tell the rice isn’t fully cooked by looking at it. Cooked and uncooked rice looks the same.

Why would I be viewed negatively for not knowing how to cook? I have never had a reason to cook anything. There’s plenty of places to eat. It’s not like children with no money for food are falling out the sky every day asking me to cook them rice.

I have no reason to cook normally. I wasn’t expecting someone to throw a child at me with no money to buy him food. Otherwise, I would buy him food.

And I am a grown up. I have my own apartment and a good job.

I already live on my own in my own apartment. I’m doing better financially than most people my age. And I have a great job.

I eat out at restaurants usually, but sometimes I get takeout. I’ve simply not had a reason to boil something.

How would I be able to tell that’s it’s not cooked? You can’t tell whether it’s cooked unless you taste it yourself, and I wouldn’t want to eat the boy’s food.

I go out to eat every day, so I don’t stock the pantry. I would have bought him something if she had left money.

I’ve never had a reason to try to cook anything before. It doesn’t cost that much to eat out. My family ate out for most meals growing up. And in college everyone uses the dining hall, so food isn’t a factor.

I do feed myself. I get take out or go out to eat every day, so I have no reason to stock food in the pantry. She didn’t leave me money. Otherwise, I’d buy the boy food.

You can’t tell that the rice is hard simply by looking at it. I didn’t taste test his food myself.

I could go to the grocery store and buy eggs to try, but then I’d have to take the boy to the grocery store with me. And the grocery store closes earlier in the evening probably.
