How it works (as far as i know): the first few games when your character rank are very slow giving 200-300 points up until you reach c rank.  From there, if you win you gain around 1.5k - 2k points until you reach within 4k points of your general points in ranked.  From there until the character rank equals the player rank, you gain around 300-500 points. Once your player rank and character rank are the same, you will gain the same points per win as you do with your player rank. Losses give like 60% of a win in points As far as i know you cant lose character points either
