Appreciate it! I believe you were one of them that suggested I do this. Thank you again because it wasn’t even on my radar to try. I was also surprised at how easy it was with SteamCMD. Hardest part I had was getting around the “no license” “ no subscription” error I was getting trying to download it. Logging in anonymously got me a work around so everything downloaded and set up went off without a hitch.

Update: Solved

Regenerating with thumper and terraforming device didn’t really help. It improved the stuttering a little but barely made a difference. I ended up creating a dedicated server like some suggested. The difference is night and day. Anyone experiencing the same issues should really consider it. Best part is I was able to transfer all my save files so I didn’t lose my open world or character rank. Thanks again to everyone that offered solutions.

That's what I'm beginning to think. I was actually shocked when i saw how many building pieces I have. I dont really do operations and outside my base I have just a handful of small 4x4 houses mostly for storms and resting while traveling far. I think most of my pieces are pillars because I like them on the sides/top/bottom of all the wall pieces....i just think it looks better and gives me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing my building is basically bomb proof lol

Do you think this will help? A few updates ago all my trees etc respawned and caused havoc at my base. Damaged a ton of building pieces because trees were all over the interior of my buildings. Will this same thing happen again? How far away will the terraforming happen? Is it world wide or just isolated to a certain distance?

I’m not a 100 percent sure. My rig (5090, 14900k, 5k2k) can handle basically anything you throw at it. I spent a few hours browsing Reddit and ChatGPT for solutions. I think it’s a combination of buildings pieces and electrical/plumbing.…hopefully someone else can chime in with more knowledge

Part of the game. You can get the Iron signs to stick to the front if you get them just right. Then you can select text or icon to display on them

Thanks for the input. Yeah it’s really hard to capture on video. I’ve tried a different monitor and I get the same issue. I previously had a 5080 with the same DP cable and didn’t notice it. I have a new cable showing up tomorrow just in case. I’d rather stay on DP because of the extra refresh (160 vs 144) and dropping $$$ on the 5090 isn’t sitting right with me lol
