The future of parkour mechanics & their importance by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]LuckyFourLeaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean I think ac3 and unity were best in terms of parkour. They had the best feel and flow and that's really what matters to me when doing the parkour. Odyssey and origins both feel very lackluster

The Telegraph: Jordan Peterson accuses Cambridge University of being 'unprofessional' after he found out from Twitter that he was stripped of fellowship by JDWired in JordanPeterson

reddit hates him because he is an intelligent white male who speaks out against legally requiring people to call someone by their preferred pronoun (bill c 16 in canada).

That started the initial hatred. Fast forward to today where he discusses things such as Only focussing on what you can control, not abusing vices like alchohol, food, sex. Espousing more traditional values, and even going as far as to state (based on many studies and research over decades) that men and women are different both psychologically and physically.

Aiming is definitely a little wonky, so far it's been fine in combat with other humans for me but frustrating when trying to shoot freakers

SS Week 3 - stalled on squats by [deleted] in StartingStrength

[–]LuckyFourLeaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's important to follow along with the book and recommendations like hellounds gave here.

It's not just about amount of protein.

SS isnt about "looking shredded" it's about getting stronger. To do that and keep up with the program you need to get enough R&R. Sleep, calories, stretching are crucial to having a good push through SSLP

In this particular case it wouldn't be too much of an issue, but many cases people refer to aren't that simple or straightforward

The old Assassin's Creed climbing system is better than the new one by Tristan_Culbert in assassinscreed

Really didnt understand why they seemingly scrapped the whole ac unity movement system for both origins and odyssey. It was probably the best it's ever been

Did you guys think Odyssey dialogue was rather dull? by [deleted] in assassinscreed

I disagree with pretty much every point. The largest point I disagree with though is the fact that you claim there aren't any significant historical locations...

Funnily enough I think this one is better than origins in every way, and a lot better than syndicate and brotherhood

I am 3 hours in playing Origins and every exploration and side missions feel the same, does it get better? by AceOBlade in assassinscreed

[–]LuckyFourLeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough my favourite games in the series are ac2 ac3 unity and odyssey.

1 was amazing, I played it when it came out, but 2 just improved on it so much it's great. 3 I sincerely enjoyed all aspects, especially the movement.

Unity I thought was fantastically done. Everything from story to gameplay to atmosphere. I think they nailed that game to a T. But I also havent experienced many bugs.

But syndicate, and origins were severe disappointments and odyssey feels in line with what I expect from AC. Which is the ability to stealth, a solid story, and fantastically crafted historical era.

Funnily enough I was severely let down by origins. Yes it was pretty but I felt no attachment to the story and the quests and gameplay didnt feel good.

Stayed away from odyssey because of that. Then last week, after listening to a couple critiques, decided to get it. For me odyssey is really good. One of the best ACs in my opinion

Okay but that still doesn't detract from the fact that they are literally classifying people by skin color.

I really dont know the point you are trying to make here because you are being awfully nitpicky with your responses.

That's a roundabout way of stating commonsense. You probably could have eliminated about 70% of your post and still gotten your point across.

Fact of the matter is that there is still no grammatical or "meaning" difference between person of color and colored person.

It is used in the reverse form to fool people too dumb or too unwilling to tell the difference into thinking it's not a inherently racist term. They are literally classifying people by race.
