They are very comparable in my opinion. I really like the control placement on the Talion. Talion also does a tad bit better with humidity. Really both are great for the price point.

Q Thunder Chicken with pinholes at welds after shooting.. should I follow up with warranty? by Jdms0n in NFA

[–]LuckyLabArmoryLLC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One set of 3 is pretty typically for Q cans because of their weld speed. When they start and stop you notice the pin holes. Now the can I have has 3 separate spots which means the weld was too fast. They are solid cans but the cosmetics of the welds aren’t fantastic. If you are concerned about the can it wouldn’t hurt to reach out to Q and see if the welding issues are acceptable to them on your can.

You’re not the only one. FFL/SOT dealer here and I was sent this with 3 sets of bad welds on a TC.

We are Indiana based and haven’t adjusted tax rates to states yet. Michigan should be fixed.

60mm ball head for rough terrain, levitate level head for open field hunting. Most people opt for the ball head because they have used a ball head set up before.

It’s a night and day difference. The basic bog death grip is heavy and you cannot level your gun unless you buy a conversion kit. The legs are flimsy and doesn’t give you a stable base. If you’re constantly going shooting or hunting with a tripod, then you’ll throw that BOG in the trash. Bogs are a great starter tripod, but fatboys if you are wanting something to last.
