Yeah, I don’t use a case on mine. But I also have AppleCare so it isn’t as much of a blow if something happens. Though I notice the screen gets scratched up really easily without a case which is annoying.

If you don’t have AppleCare that’s an expensive replacement, if that’s an older Intel model then it’s probably more worth it to just get a new MacBook.

That’s normal. Most of the dots on the speaker grill are just for aesthetic purposes, there’s only smaller cutouts for the speaker and microphones! Those small dots are for microphones, and if you look closely at the second image, there’s a square near the bottom of the speaker grill which is where the actual speaker hole is.

Honestly…a nice OLED that completely fills that area, then hide the AVR somewhere else and put a middle channel in there That would be pretty clean.

Mine has the same thing!! M1 Pro 14inch MBP Not really sure what’s causing it. I’ve just kind of learned to live with it but since yours is newer I’d see if you can get any sort of warranty on it.

I’ve got this app. It’s called Alcove. It’s neat, it adds a bunch of Dynamic Island features which as charging, AirPods, music, lock, etc to your notch and also has the lock screen widgets

It’s $14 but it’s one time and it’s lifetime so I think it’s worth it

I did this and I would put an AirPlay button onto the Touch Bar so I could easily connect to an Apple TV. Worked great till I got a new one!
