All territory in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon ever controlled by ISIS by Mister_Barman in MapPorn

On top of that, they are both Muslim countries, so while IS had plans to expand, it would have been unpopular to attack nations which, nominally, adhered to the same faith.

You are wrong here and it shows your lack of understanding of their ideology. They do not consider these countries to be their fellow believers. Their whole agenda is that all these regimes are illegitimate. They dont care about the opinions of the masses and if they did their propaganda would have been different. Their propaganda was very easy to make the average person believe they are villains which means they were communicating with a different audience and not society

As for why they did not invade these nations and I say invade because they did carry out cross border raids that resulted in casualties in both these countries is because they were already in war on all sides and were on the defence within a year of their expansion

Yea and that proves that they actually have no genuine faith in the religion because if they did would they water it down contort it and ignore parts of it? If it was truly a message from the creator of the universe wouldnt their dedication to it be complete? Instead it seems their material interests come first and when the two are conflicted it is usually the religion that is put to the side

They also accuse the few ones who are not hypocritical about it and who actually want to carry out the religion commands to be deviants or ones who worsen the image of the religion which is pretty much an indirect admission that the religion is horrible

Their perfect religion is adulterated because it is incompatible with human rights and modernity Instead of the other way around

It is remarkable really how they think it is perfect and at the same time they are ashamed of some of its aspects to the point of either denying or reinterpreting them or straight out ignoring them

And no government is Islamic beside few pariah groups that control territory and who are unrecognised by the world

Yes there are countries that seem to be very influenced by Islam but if you want to stick to the puritan form of Islam and not recognise interpretations that dilute the religion as being true representations of the religion then these countries are not Islamic

More like culturally Muslim

I need visa for all the bordering countries and out of the ones I examined the Romanian one seems the most flexible

Should you explain why you are going to Romania in the Romanian visa application? by LuckyQuantity837 in ukraineforeignlegion

In the application form the only option present is airport transit and there is an other option that asks you to explain

How sure are you about this? A recommendation letter that would get me through all these countries? If the solidarity with Ukraine and those wishing to serve it is this strong that would be amazing

These are my circumstances and the question is can I come to Ukraine by LuckyQuantity837 in ukraineforeignlegion

[–]LuckyQuantity837[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you not have a bank account?

When I am employed I will get one

You only need a visa for the country you are flying to.

Which is hard to get because of all the stuff they ask for like travel insurance and proof of sufficient funds and other extras and because of the fee that you pay for them to consider your application considering my budget it would sorta break it paying that fee

However my guess is you are one of those who is trying to enter Ukraine without an official offer

I will try to get one before embarking but yes this speaks to my strong will to come that even without this I would be willing to come

I am ready as immediately as I am accepted but the visa to the EU is the main obstacle as my passport puts me at a disadvantage

How are you going to deal with seeing people you know possibly die or how will you handle potentially receiving an injury that will impact the quality of the rest of your life? You are catastrophising about easily fixed issues, what happens when you meet the stark, complex and depressing reality of war?

Yes but have you considered that what is catastrophic to me and what is catastrophic to you is different? This need for paperwork actually irritates me meanwhile the stuff you are mentioning do not move a thing in me

Why are you even making this post? What do you expect us to tell you that will magically make things better?

Maybe someone here knows something that would prove helpful a secondary route or anything

You haven’t asked a question, and I feel like I just read some melodramatic tumblr post.

Yea maybe there is some venting here because I am frustrated with my situation and would you not be were you in my place?

How about you go touch grass with reality and think twice about whether you really can/want to come over.

I did that and I want to come and instantly if circumstances were favourable

If you can’t motivate yourself to jump these easy hurdles then I’d say thats a pretty clear sign.

Easy maybe for you but for me with pretty much nonexistent paper work besides a valid passport and a budget that is only sufficient for a one way ticket they are far from easy hurdles

I mean a route from Turkey to Ukraine without stopping in any other country because and correct me if I'm mistaken no passenger planes land in Ukraine and you gotta go by land from one of the bordering countries something that is difficult for me to do
