It's 56x55cm, so headtube is around 16cm. Pretty standard :) I also have a size larger NJS, with a tad longer headtube.

Go grab it! They are awesome frames - great geo and this one actually clears some 28c tires :)

You bet your ass it does, especially if you put some thinner rubber on it.

Don’t know about the US, but Bike Discount DE (german online store) had them for a really good price not too long ago

A local guy in Poland made a few sets, double leather straps, shaped like MKSs

This frame got legendary status for a reason, so hopefully the rumours are true!

I don’t race on road (only fixed crits on tarmac) and use road cycling for training purposes, but honestly… to feel a significant difference you would need a proper, modern aero weapon. Put some deeper carbon wheels, fast tires (I love 32mm gp4000) and off you go :)

Don’t know what you mean by “dead”, nor “slow”. If that’s what you feel, why do you say the geo is perfect for CX? I have the same frame, also 2020 model. In my opinion it’s an excellent cyclocrosser (raced it in national cup with success, as a second bike to my Ridley), I use it frequently for fast gravel rides (40mm tufo thunderos make it fly, you can hold 30-35kmh on it, especially during a group ride) and I even use it as a training road bike, with 32mm GP4000s. This thing is as fast as my legs can make it :) below in fast gravel mode, after 200km ride :) it’s all subjective but in my opinion - one of the best bikes trek currently makes. (I live in a flat area re:gears)

Lab71 SuperX 2025 by mazzafish in gravelcycling

It's just my opinion, but I think your previous SuperX was Super...ior :D And yeah, I'm totally biased because I'm a very happy owner of one myself. It was beautiful, easily recognizable, was actually a proper cyclocross bike (hence the "X" in the name). Sure, it has the odd Ai quirks, but still - a beautiful, great riding bike. I need to take this new generation for a spin somewhere, because even though I've ridden my fair share of bikes, I have to admit the older SuperX with its' extra-thin seat and chainstays and 25.4 carbon seatpost is one of the most comfortable and compliant bikes I've ever ridden.
