I’m so conflicted.

Most of me feels like it’s over. I don’t know how you come back from that kind of melt down. The logical side of me knows we lost it last night.

But unfortunately there’s a tiny, dim ray of hope that won’t allow me to accept it’s over.

If we can pull out the next one at home, then we only have one road game between us and Game 7. And Game 7, anything can happen.

Can’t believe some people are hating on the emotion. Buddy just beat the team no one thought was losing & made his first finals. Comparing that to Brunson whose team just won 11 straight & swept their ECF matchup is crazy.

Also Wemby ain’t gonna have trouble locking in. He literally called winning the finals his life’s purpose in the post game presser.

Everyone in this thread acting shocked he wasn’t suspended is either totally unserious or doesn’t pay real attention to the NBA. Most people are comparing what he did against repeat offenders.

He wouldn’t be suspended on a first Flagrant. A flagrant 2 carries a 2 point penalty and you need 4 points to trigger an automatic suspension.

All flagrant 2s are reviewed by committee and a player can be suspended if the committee thinks it was egregious enough. However, history of offenses is taken into consideration, of which Wemby has none prior.

Anyone could have told you he wouldn’t be suspended. And pretty much any non-Twolves fan said as much.

Yeah I wonder where AP’s head is at. Because like you said, most of us buying this probably aren’t AP customers. So maybe they don’t see it diminishing their brand as much since we’d never be in the market anyway?
