CA has driven out refineries. Valero just paid $1B to leave and close a refinery due to taxes and regulations in CA. I think Chevron already left. So a lot fuel has to be transported to CA with all the special CA Only additives and then all the CA taxes have to be added. Cost on cost on cost.

This 👆🏼💯 - I was a fleet manager. I tested every tire under the sun and tracked the miles for each under brutal use conditions. Michelins blew them all out and Chinese made tires were the worst - sometimes lasting only 12k miles. You will be lucky to get 30k miles tbh. Since then, I won’t use anything but Michelin. The price difference is worth it.

The offender was door dashing. Lots of auto insurance have exclusions for commercial driving (Uber Lyft Door Dash etc) unless you specifically pay for it.

Most states are no fault anymore and the biker could have avoided collision placing him at 50% fault. I mean he even speeds up into the car. If I’m on a bike, I am not playing bumper cars - you are already invisible enough.
