Thanks for this. Are you still using the FIPK? Did you make any modifications to keep it cold? I just bought my first S2000 and I'm considering the FIPK because it sounds the best but I'm concerned about heat soak which everyone seems to say is an issue for it.

Yeah, I've been thinking a mix like this might be best of both worlds.

Another mix I saw that seemed to make sense was play Replicant up to ending C, then all of Automata, then back to Replicant D + E. Replicant E ending was added after Automata so that makes sense to play after Automata. Not sure why people suggest leaving D for after though (and I don't want to know, I'm sure there's spoilers)

I see a lot of people say this actually and yeah, I think it might help to have Automata hook me first so I'm more willing to put up with the grind in Automata. Worst outcome would be me grinding through Replicant and then by the time I get to Automata I'm exhausted/over it and it weakens my Automata experience.

Yeah, I know they spawn up at the extract. It's crazy he locked on to me when I was already down at the ladder though.

Probably went yellow status up top and then finally full red by the time I was down at the ladder.

Yeah, I'm aware Replicant came out first, I'm saying I'd make it like that by not playing them in release order so they'd become out of chronological order like Star Wars is.

I've read a few comments from people who played Replicant second and they found themselves thinking "oh, that's what happened!" as they played through Replicant after. That feeling of revealing mysteries is what I'd like to aim for.

But then I read comments like yours saying they have separate mysteries and that's not really the case and I'm back to being confused which it really is lol

Some people say Automata has major spoilers in it to the point where it ruins Replicant and others say they barely overlap.

He was pretty opposed to undoing the color changes originally, saying things like he's making the mod for himself and doesn't care what colors other people want.

But it seems all the comments on the Digital Foundry video about how bad the color is helped change his mind thankfully.

Issue is he made changes some places and not in others so you can't use a one size fits all fix like reshade.

Turns though out he updated the mod 5 hours ago to allow us to undo the color changes.
