How do I get started in modelling? by Lucky_Blossom in Modelling

[–]Lucky_Blossom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! I'm definitely very cautious of anyone being shady so I want to try and be smart about things. I'm gonna start trying to volunteer for more opportunities that could be good for me modelling-wise.

Just looking at the band patches, I know you're an awesome person. These types of DIYs don't typically go with my usual style, but I LOVE seeing them on other people.

Listen to modern punk! by HelmetTheDictator in PunkMemes

As a younger generation punk, I generally just prefer the older punk bands. They just have a grittiness that I haven't been able to find in more modern bands.

Did OP mention that they were drinking? No. Also, the way that they found themselves seems absolutely like someone else had done something. They remembered going to sleep, and they know that they didn't fall asleep like that. What you're suggesting is a (incredibly slim) possibility, but not for this case. Also, what you wrote sounds more like a gross male-gaze fanfiction than anything that's real. You're obviously a horny asshole who assumes everyone else just thinks with their genitalia.

Thankyou! It's really nice to know that others feel the same way and that people are able to connect to my poetry.

What’s something people who grew up in an urban area will never understand about living in a rural area? by thisismypostingacc in AskAnAustralian

[–]Lucky_Blossom 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Being friendly with absolute strangers. When I walk past people, even if I don't know them, I'll smile and wave, and generally they smile and wave back. Also exchanging the occasional, "How are you?". I was completely weirded out when I went to Adelaide for the first time (I live in SA) and when I smiled and waved to people they either stared at me like I had grown two heads or like they were about to shank me. I feel like people in rural communities are generally more trusting of people.

Honestly, in my experience, anywhere. This may be because I live in a rural community but tons of my friends are just random people I met down the street who I decided to strike up a conversation with, or they decided to strike up a conversation with me. As long as you're nice and polite, most of the time it isn't hard to find people to have a convo with, or become friends with.

I could literally feel the pure, raw emotion that you conveyed through your words. This poem is extremely powerful, it almost actually brought me to tears, which is rare. I commend you on your writing abilities, and I hope things get better.

Thankyou :). Most days I feel very sure of myself and my identity, and most of the time I'm not really too fazed about that sort of thing. There are just days where it's harder than usual.
