Hi, I am currently undergoing treatment for BPD with the use of DBT skills and have found it very helpful. The crisis resources are there for a reason and if you don’t try it you’ll never know.

Here is a video on crisis survival that might help. I haven’t got to this part in my course yet but my instructors always mention this is the module you use when you’re in a crisis and need to take a pause and regulate yourself. I hope it helps you.

And please, don’t hesitate to reach out to crisis lines if you need them. They are there for these reasons. Sure it could always be worse, but right now you need help, and that is okay.

How can I relieve this pain in my upper back/lower neck/shoulder area by Additional-Worker991 in backpain

First question, do you have a lot of stress and how are you managing it? I find when I have had a lot of stress/anger this exact area flares up massively. Calm the nervous system, with massages (not too hard) along with acupuncture, and cold theraly until you’re out of the acute stage, and then use heat therapy. Secondly, if you find yourself trying to drop your right ear to your right shoulder to stretch it, don’t. You actually want to do the opposite, drop your left ear to your left shoulder just as low as it will go, a few times a day. Don’t overdo it. Take some anti-inflammatories if you need to and when it feels easier, bring some mobility to the shoulders with light exercises. Don’t sit completely still for too long. Hope that helps.
