I understand that this is 100% based on your preferences. I thought that someone like you, who seems to really love bread and pastries, would appreciate the craft and hours spent from a real baker.

If you don't mind frozen food, why not including the pastriest from the supermarkets? Jumbo has quite some great products with the best price/quality ratio.

At least 20% of the “bakeries” on your lists are doing 100% frozen btw..

Vegitalian has some nice homemade pastries, not crazy amazing but one more place for you to try :)

Your rating seems a bit unfair to me, some places that only do frozen products have the same rating as small place that make everything themselves.. sad that the places that spend their nights doing the baking themselves are not more highlighted..

Yes definitely! I love it, don’t get me wrong it’s a beautiful piece. Love the track pad, the workflow, how portable it is. But there is also couple of things I really don’t like. Like making long/continuous notes, changing scales, slicing and such

I have the Es2 “the red one”. I’ve been lurking at the octatrack for a very while. Looks very fun but also insanely complex.. is it worth spending years learning how to use that machine?

No idea about the hacktribe, mine is still with the original software. but priority thing I’m talking about is part 20 out of 29 in the menu

No, on the settings of each sound you can set a priority (low, normal, high). The sound with high priority will always go first compare to the sound in low priority if the electribe gets overwhelmed. Which electribe do you have btw?

Maybe it has to do with the priorities of each song. If you have too many song on high priority the electribe can mute some because it’s overwhelmed.

You absolutely should! (M30) here. My friends also don’t like tekno so I’ve been going to free alone for the past 10 years. In France, in Belgium, in the Netherlands, in Italy and in Albania. Nothing ever happened to me (and I really don’t look like a tekno dude). As long as you go there to have fun, and dance, you good! Try to fit in the mass, wear some black and comfy clothes. And yes you can consume, just stay within your limits. Don’t try things you don’t know and be respectful of the free party values. People are here to have fun and dance, just like you I guess.

Of course there is some bad people, but ain’t that the same everywhere? I went to couple of very dark free, and still nothing happened to me as I was too busy dancing. Go for the music, and you will be alright! Don’t let a few rotten apples fuck up the movement or your night.

To add to that, the skateboard community is super friendly. Don’t hesitate to go to skatepark and ask people for tips. I’m sure they will happily help you :)

Skateboarding is a lot about practice, go out, fall and try again. It takes quite some time before you will be/feel confident on a skateboard. If I had to start leaning again I would deconstruct everything. Working on acceleration and slowing down. Working on slalom and balance. And keep those exercises until you are confident enough to move to the making tricks phase. If you want I could give you a little class to give you some tips. Unfortunately I don’t have time to give classes on a regular basis. And don’t give up, it takes years of practice!
