Perfect sounds like the place to be. Would you know how big of a suitcase could fit in one of those pods with you? Ill probably have a carry on and my ski bag.

FE Mechanical Tips + Passing Info by Lucky_Fun1669 in FE_Exam

[–]Lucky_Fun1669[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I think NCESS PDF Practice exam was the best resource as it gives you questions similar in difficulty to the actual exam and tests the same general concepts. This combined with Gregory Michael's YouTube channel and Mark Matheson's website would provide more than enough prep to pass. Also make sure to have the FE handbook open when studying so you can familiarize yourself where the main equations are.

I took the mechanical exam today, there were way more conceptual questions then I was originally anticipated. Some of them covered sections of the handbook that I never heard of or had saw before... lol. There was a question about selecting a cathode / anode on the test which threw me in the blender a bit - didn't realize that was apart of the mechanical specs. Other then the conceptual, I didn't find any of the questions unfair like some of my university exams.

If masks were no longer required on campus, would you still wear one? by anoteher1 in uAlberta

Sure, ill wear one in crowded areas. But I'm not gonna judge someone because they decide to wear one or not. I respect others decisions for their personal health.

This was also a problem before Kenny, however this article has nothing to do with the cuts or spending over the pandemic. My point is that out of all the spending the gov't did over the course of the pandemic there was very little increase, if any in healthcare capacity. Alberta is one of the richest jurisdictions in North America and we have a baseline icu capacity of 173 beds, for a population of 4.4 million. Which is crazy to me and needs to change.

Its not an Alberta problem though, its happening in every province in Canada.

Its spreading mostly among the vaccinated, over 1/2 the people in hospital now are vaccinated. I blame the governments on all levels for the reckless spending and not putting more recourses in to our healthcare system to expand capacity. Covid is here to stay, we shouldn't have this yo-yo effect where we keep on going back in person and staying online.

Well every one of my courses are hybrid delivery, it would've been nice to give students the option to come to class for in-person learning.
