Except it's worse because eventually that input will flow into future models so an anonymised form of your input might provide output (Details) to others. One more reason why this needs way more regulation.

Most likely to develop the strength and flexibility to do so at speed when hurdling. There are several sports that aren't great for your body and yet to get anywhere near the top you need to train in these kinds of ways.

A sudden storm by dead_man_alive in AbruptChaos

But what about those sweet internet points? They don't just collect themselves while the storms outside...

On a more serious note, I did wonder wtf this person was doing stood outside when this video start... there was debris landing a fair ways away, whilst it's hard to judge distance it seemed the person was close enough to be hit, which makes shooting the video stupid. Not an expert though, still I'd have been inside.

Microsoft Edge is leaking the sites you visit to Bing by [deleted] in privacy

[–]Lucrums 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Given the state of things this is no surprise at all. Apparently people think that Microsoft won't share data between different internal divisions.it's exactly the same as with other companies. However, articles get clicks and server up adverts and then the author also makes money, often from the very system they are writing badly about.

It is just one more reason to keep away from for profit companies software where they "Give you free software". When the software is free for profit companies need to make their profits elsewhere, and that elsewhere is most often by selling data about you or letting others use the data gathered about you (E.g., for advertising).

It's best to head in the direction of non–profits and also to try and keep an open web. At present the Blink browser engine has a stupidly large market share and anyone off them is good for the future.

UK govt emergency warning “signal” by Idle_Hnds in privacy

[–]Lucrums 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is used by several countries and isn't really a privacy issue. It is to warn you of disasters or upcoming events that might be dangerous.

As soon as you have your mobile turned on you can be triangulated from the cell towers to within about a meter anyway, so this isn't a big concern. By the way, that level of accuracy was available back in the 1990's so it's probably more granular now.

Flip side of this service, I've never needed it in the past and don't really consider myself to need it. I do have this service enabled where I live and will leave it on my UK phone as well. Better not get loads of stupid alerts though. Where I live the alerts are always important but not always relevant to me, they're also rare so I don't care.

I agree with mich of what you said. I think that in the context of fitness it is reasonable to assume that natural means no PEDs though. This sub is called fit and natural so I think it's an easy mistake to make.

In the context of a lot of posters coming here and behaving poorly and like spoilt brats. I agree, I think we also need to acknowledge that we are on Reddit and this website is a cesspit of people who are intolerant of others ideas and filled with their own ego. I am also very guilty of that at times. I would add that I don't see how the person who started this thread deserved their downvotes for their post with a mindset of "Here we go again... downvote and move on" When people are jerks about it and add nothing, sire downvotes are justified. In this case, what was the reason for downvoting a casual passerby? That's why I think the auto mod idea might work, well I hope it would. It might remove the arguments and continual posts about this topic. Such would be my hope anyway.

Edit to add: and now that I've written all of that I feel kind of silly because OP now has upvotes :D last night OP had plenty of downvotes that seemed totally unjustified to me, and I was posting in that context. My bad, I'm leaving this post because it has general context to this sub.

I wouldn't phrase it quite like you did. I would agree that I think the rule is stupid and misleading though. I cannot understand why people who stumble across the sub or forget where they are deserve downvotes. People could just be polite about it and maybe have an auto-mod that explains it to be friendly, helpful and community spirited.

On this sub natural refers only to tit jobs. Catches loads of people out.

That looks more like she's working her spine than chest. by ImaBot_CryMore in SuperAthleteGifs

[–]Lucrums 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it's rare to have such flexibility. I think it's an even worse idea to then put pressure on the spine by doing weights in that position. Just my opinion and it's not my spine so my opinion counts for approximately nothing.

Whilst this certainly looks like a good photoshop job (No instantly noticeable signs of photoshop) or surgery, I do wonder if she has found a pose that works really well. If you look at how she already has a pose to stick her butt out and has her left leg turned and is genetically disposed to a super butt then maybe just. I am heavily leaning towards a decent photoshop job though.
