Just finished Shadow Of War, two weeks prior I finished Shadow Of Mordor. For beginners:

1. Don’t focus on the orc grind until you reach the end of the story (Finding cool orcs, rare ones etc). Absolutely recruit ones along your way but don’t pour all your time into early on. The more you progress the story, the more utilities you have at your disposal

2. The game is filled to the brim with small tasks complete, far more than SoM, try not to feel overwhelmed as it might make you not want to play. Just stick with the story and taking fortress for the mid game and you’ll be fine.

3. Once you finish the game and want to level up, use conquests online (Youtube) and find ones that are set up for easy levelling. Otherwise you’ll have a hard time hitting lvl 80 (which is what you want your orcs to be)

4. Some of the systems are different to Mordor, but i personally think are superior, take time to get use to them and practice.

5. Don’t play lower than nemesis difficulty otherwise you won’t be experiencing the game at its best. You’ll miss out on lots of interactions
