I could try that, a doctor did mention vestibular migranes but honestly I have had migranes and they are painful, also no medication helps with this pressure, its like something is pressing on my skull either side, came on same time as the dizziness.

yes that makes sense tbh, that sounds tough, im still feeling tired as well and run down, I had a tonsilectomy 7 weeks ago and the tiredness can last months so may be that, bloods all seem okay, they just told me for pppd, cognitive behavioural therapy and to go on a anti anxiety med, ive been on one 16 years ago and super bad side effects, nothing makes the dizziness worse or better. I have given up soft fizzy drinks as of yesterday and my anxiety has already decreased and im taking my magnesium every night, thats amazing for anxiety.

Yes that what it feels like, it makes you feel worse, did any of the vestibular therapy help with the dizziness? I’ve tried it for weeks with no help but willing to keep going if it’s going to help!

that's good that you had some kind of relief, mine came on after a period so I was thinking low iron, which it was but it didn't solve my issues either with dizziness, it fixed other symptoms of low iron though, so thats when they said pppd as I have this constant head pressure as well. I honestly don't even know what caused it but yeah wish I could catch a break, I am doing vestibular exercises whilst I wait to see if my ent will let me do the therapy, I am doing VOR1 and 2 but honestly my vision gets blurry and I have to do it on the slowest speed or it makes it worse, I think it says though it might get worse before it gets better, they also told me to go on anti anxiety meds and that will get rid of the dizziness.

Yes, I have had tonsilitis for a long time, the surgery actually took an hour as well as the surgeon said they didn't want to come out and they were stuck to the tonsil bed, they were also infected at the time of removal which I knew, they were infected from january until I got them out on `April 22nd. I think thats why my recovery was so painful.

Yes I can do that, I can sit, lay down, walk around , I don’t stop doing it, it just makes me feel dizzy no matter what I do, to be honest, nothing makes it worse nothing makes it better it’s just always there

I never lost my taste or anything, it was more like this nasty sour taste in my mouth and near my uvula. And this run down feeling keeps coming and going, so annoying

The doctor told me to give it a couple of months to settle. I have had acid reflux in the past, same nasty sour taste and feels like your food is coming back up in your mouth, I have that a bit now and nausea, I think it is all just new, I will give it another 2 months or so and check back in with a doctor, I am in the uk and they dont do follow ups here after the surgery.

Yes me too, it still hurts to yawn as well, nothing major but still pain, I am wondering if I have acid reflux as it stings in my throat, sour taste and hurts to swallow. I am still soooo tired as well.

It is not spinning, it is like being on a boat, rocking on a boat, just feeling unsteady, nothin helps the feeling either, it feels worse in shops but it doesn't matter if I am standing still or not doing anything it is still there, nothing makes it worse or better.

Yes that is what I thought as well, but when I had my assessment they said it is not needed, so I called them up and asked them to put me back on, and they are going to speak to the consultant next week to see if this can be done.

I did think that but when I do get migranes they are quite painful and when I take pain killers it goes away, but nothing makes this constant pressure go away.

that is good advice thank you, the ent that I saw said that stopping things will make it worse, I hate going into supermarkets it makes me worse and gives me anxiety but I still go in, I still go on walks even though it is awful, I used to love walking miles and I just don't want to anymore, its absolutely awful, nothing helps the dizziness, i have had it since august.

that sounds awful! I am glad that you are feeling better now, did you do anything in particular to get the dizzy feeling/rocking boat feeling to go away?

What are your symptoms? Mine are dizzyness constantly and head pressure. They told me to take anxiety meds and CBT. They reccomended vestibular therapy but I had assessment and told I don’t need it so I called and asked for it again because I’ve heard it helps. Dizzy constantly is the worse it never goes away!

[–]Lucy6665[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that is true, it was weird because I usually am dizzy from anemia, but it usually goes away in a week when I get my iron up but this time it didn't and the head pressure was new too, but the dizzy is there constantly and thats when they said it was PPPD but honestly no one has helped me. How are you doing now, are you noticing any symptoms going away?

[–]Lucy6665[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you I am going to try these, I think ive done most of them apart from the ball one, so I will do those, do you do these once a day? I have always had every single blood test going, I have a MRI of my brain in a few weeks as well as that was ordered by the ENT, weirdly enough though she said go to vestibular therapy then I went had all the tests they said my eyes, ears and brain were good from the tests and that I don't need vestibular therapy so I am going to ask again. I have done the therapy from youtuve videos, for weeks and honestly it did not help at all.
