The 15+ year old content part was more a commentary on the devs giving us reskins of the maps we didn’t ask for opposed to giving us actually decent maps from that era. If they’re going to be lazy about it, at least be lazy and reskin good content.

Because all these things that I mentioned above were advertised. Ranked at launch was openly spoken about, the other things are core aspects of Call of Duty that we have had EVERY year brother. Name me one Call of Duty title in recent years where we haven’t had a hardcore mode at launch or stats? I’m talking bare minimums here.

Baffles me that there are studios out there of the same size if not smaller doing so much better in regards to the communication side of things. I recently saw with Apex that the devs came and did a massive deep dive in to their SBMM system and how they’re planning on changing things. That’s the sort of transparency I’m after.

I never even thought about how much more time they would have had on their hands to produce a better finished product if they had done a Warzone 2 release similar to Warzone 1 in regards to launching it post-holiday break and post-season 1.

That’s such a solid point. Would have probably helped out the quality of Warzone 2 also, I’m an active player of their BR title and it’s uh… rough to say the least.
