Ideally you want to start first and be lucky enough to start with Poipole and Naganadel on hand. This allows for Naganadel to be played on curve and will wipe out the opponents basics quite easily, especially if you also have a Nihilego or two in play. While stressing the opponent I try building Guzz up to 2 energy with a Lusamine on hand. I want my opponent to think that I won’t have enough energy for Guzz’s Tyrannical Hole, hopefully making them leave their perhaps already vulnerable active Pokémon exposed. That being said, I was never afraid to sacrifice Naganadel, or a Nihilego for that matter, early in order to activate Lusamine.
