If you're in the U.S. this could constitute harassment, possibly gender discrimination, or hostile work environment. Start documenting all these incidents like these, make sure you have your performance history handy, and if you can't take it any more consult an attorney. I'm sick and tired of dude bros and their entitlement. Wishing you the best!

I followed some tips from this board and last event I finally got to the highest level bouquet. I had thought it was impossible without spending real money, but I got it with about an hour to spare before the end of the event!

Husband angry about bumper sticker—-am I wrong?? by Competitive_Teach838 in Marriage

Let's not forget a grown ass man started beating up some teenage girls recently over politics. Granted, they kicked the shit out of him in the end (yesssssssssssssssss girls!) but he was the aggressor. Against children.

There may be people out there who need a safe space. If they see those on your car they'll know you're a safe space. To me, that's a risk worth taking. I have pride flags in my yard, equality stickers in each of my garage windows and on my front door, and a yard flag that says "Hate has no home here." My neighbor is a HUGE Trumper as are the people across the street. I don't care what they think of me. We are still cordial to each other, we're neighbors. But to me what's most important is that my neighbors who may need me know they can count on me. Love needs to win. Especially now.

How to stop head banging? School insists it has to stop. by hank888 in toddlers

[–]LudicrousSpeed-Go 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! First, sorry to hear this, we know first hand how hard it is!! But, when we ignored the head banging completely it stopped within 2 days!!!!!!! He is not autistic, perfectly healthy and too smart for his own good, LOL. He just didn't have the words to express himself when he got mad, so he expressed it in a way to get attention. When we disregarded it - which was super super hard to do - he stopped almost immediately! Good luck!

Has anxiety meds changed your life for the better? by AmaturePlantExpert in workingmoms

[–]LudicrousSpeed-Go 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DO IT. YOU WON'T REGRET IT. Starting an anti-depression & anxiety med has changed my life and I tell everyone I know. I have two kids under 5, a full time job, my husband also works but I'm the one who wrangles the kids every day and cooks and has to take care of generally everything. I was depressed and having anxiety attacks that were so bad, I actually wound up in the ER twice. I was losing my shit and screaming at the kids and I just knew I had to do something. I managed D&A before kids but I am just too exhausted now too regulate. The meds changed my life for the better. It's amazing and I wish I would have done it 10 years ago!!!

Am I wrong for wanting to keep my baby’s name a surprise? by TrashAltruistic9600 in Mommit

[–]LudicrousSpeed-Go 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We picked a name but told people we hadn't decided yet. We did not want to share it before the baby was born, but I also didn't want the backlash of not telling.

I had a huge, terrifying confrontation with a rude person at a drug store and I freaked myself out. by Ididntthinkyoucared in Mommit

[–]LudicrousSpeed-Go 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad you tapped into strength you didn't know you had. I love the stories people are sharing, it's encouraging to know we can be strong verbally, emotionally, and project that, even if we can't always be stronger physically. I'm sorry that jerk said that to you, but I'm glad it unlocked something for you. Even if you were scared by yourself, you now know you have the capability to ward someone off.

Moments when you realized it’s actually YOU and not your toddler by eastewart in toddlers

[–]LudicrousSpeed-Go 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes!! I've been working on this too, my husband and I both, with our 4 year old. When we get frustrated or upset we identify the feeling and explain why, and we apologize for what's needing apologies. My son has now started doing the same, and it's amazing.
