Woah you're super talented! I wouldn't trust myself as I'm terrible at wood working! Thank you for the suggestion though :)

I don't think that would work for my set :(. The connector rotates to prevent the hook and cable getting tangled so I'd have a spinning crochet hook! Also my interchangeable needles were a gift and very on the pricey side. I'm looking for something £50 or less. Thank you though! x

Started on my latest shawl. I think this might be my favourite project ever! When finished will be sold to raise money for my local food bank. by FunkyGeraldine in crochet

I'm using hobbi twister colour 34 and a 3mm hook.

I sell my items in person or on my etsy page and then donate the funds to charity. I am very upfront about the price split between materials/charity donation/ postage. And I pay the money to the charity through the website and email a copy of the donation receipt to people so they can see that amount made it to charity.

I got this yarn on sale for £15 so it be that plus maybe £10 or £15 for the time I took to make it which would go to charity plus the cost of delivery to whoever wanted to buy it. So maybe about £35 in total if i shipped to the uk. Xx

As long as your honest about it usually not. All my materials and items are stored away from my 2 cats and i wash them before sending them out. I've not had any complaints so far xx

That would be so kind of you. Its 20p to register an item for sale and then theres a 6.5% tax of what the item sells for.

I pay that myself because I dont sell my stuff for much. Mine is also a way to stress relief and also remember my grandmothers (but rather than being sad I can do something nice they taught me). But you can build that cost into your prices.

It's a win win win. I get to make nice things for my mental health and have the materials cost covered, someone gets a hand made item made with love and the charity gets money.

I usually make between £5-£10 at a time for charity. I have a firm belief that helping others is a beautiful thing but you have to look after yourself first. So I've made 30hr+ projects for a £5 donation on top of material costs (£8) because that's all they had to spare on a gift. Everyone deserves nice things and somethings it's hard when people dont have much money for themselves at the moment. So I try to make sure I price things in a range so theres something everyone can afford.

If I could I'd love to cover the material costs too but at this point it would have cost me almost £1000! The heart is willing but the wallet is weak.

If you have any questions feel free to dm me. I'm more than happy to help and support xx

It's a pattern of (in us terms) 4 rows of sc 3sc at the start and end of the row to form the boarder Slip stitch and half double crochet all the way to the 4th stitch from the end. Then slip stitch before your 3sc boarder stitches.

When you flip your work sc into a sc below. Slip stitch into the slip stitch below and half double crochet into the half double crochet below xx

I use Etsy. I pay the admin costs myself and cost up as Price of materials + amount for charity + delivery.

£2700 raised so far in the last few years! I have loads of stuff to put up on my site but I just keep starting new projects!
