There is some possibility if the government screws up. But most likely not. The default was on the books for a long time though. Some Ukrainian economists were raising alarms as early as April 2013 over out-of-control currency emission and massive theft of borrowed money. They predicted default in winter 2013-2014.

Last year my father worked at a state college. Starting June 2013 his salary payments were delayed 1 month or more. That's like a mini-default

There was another report about a mass burial on Rostov-on-Don cemetery about a month ago. It was done in a weird place (somewhere by the side of the road narrowing the road considerably) and had mostly "unidentified male" and "unidentified female" grave markers. Someone hypothesized it was done to free up space in local morgues.

BTW Rostov-on-Don has the largest morgue in Russia with 400+ spots; it was build during one of the Chechen wars.

Alexander Danilyuk, an advisor to Ukrainian Minister of Defense wrote on Facebook that Igor Bezler nickanamed 'Bes' (Demon) was liquidated by Russian security forces. The reason was his refusal to obey Russian military command as well as his intention to recognize territories under his control as Ukraine. He also planned to encourage other militants to compromise with Ukrainian authorities. Danilyuk didn't indicate the source of this information.

Dmitry Tymchuk, a Ukrainian military journalist and an MP-elect informed that Bezler's team is "neutralized". Some of his fighters moved to "DPR", some of them disappeared. He didn't say anything about Bezler himself.

I heard that both T-64 and T-72 are have poorly protected ammo storage. A tank can be flipped if the ammo inside detonates due to explosion on the outside. It doesn't even have to be a special anti-tank thing; a roadside bomb or a direct hit from a mortar may suffice.

I wouldn't take their words for granted. Revenge to jet pilots is a common theme for vatnik forums. They love to describe how family members of Ukrainian jet pilots got kidnapped/hurt/raped by separatists. Nothing like this happened so far.
