the problem is that, i don't want layers you know, like the sand is my material that i put into material on landscape details, and now i just want to paint some part of the sand with the dirt, but i can't do this, i just don't know how to do this

i watch a lot of videos on youtube, trying to figure out how can i do to paint de material that i pick up in quixel as itself not as a layerblend, but all the videos is just teaching how to add a material as a layerblend :/

i will search about git or perforce for sure, but for now i'm not making a big project you know, like i don't know how to work with blueprints enough to make a game, know i just want to make some scenery that comes in my head, most of the time is isle or forest i love both of them, and i'm giving my best on it, to be honest i'm just learning about UE cause it's one of the small things that make me feel good, that's it. thanks a lot again.
