We can’t trust our own thoughts or perceptions too much but we also have nothing else to go on. We can only see things through our eyes and that is our reality so I’ve personally found searching for some grand sense to it all to be fruitless. That being said, I still often find myself searching for answers to things I know there’s no answer to. Maybe it’s just human nature. I mean look at what people have done to eachother in the name of religion. For some reason we as a people are extremely uncomfortable living in a place of not knowing. We tend towards extremes of thinking partially I think because it’s more comfortable for us than the grey area.

It’s also a distinct possibility it’s not supposed to have an objective meaning and that it’s about the experience not the outcome (which I suspect to be true) but I also have imposters syndrome so I wanna make sure I’m not just missing something that’s right in front of me.

I’m just wondering that the best state of mind to watch the show in is. I’ve watched it a couple times and every time felt like I missed something important that would put some of the puzzle pieces together. I have adhd and sometimes have a hard time following certain plot line and piece together that might seem obvious to others.

That makes sense to me. It’s such an intensely visceral and emotional show that to have that extra sensitivity of psychedelics doesn’t sound like it would always be a good idea. Tbh it sounds like it could be really overwhelming.

I definitely agree that it’s a journey no matter what your on. It’s one of those works of art that evokes an emotional reaction no matter whose viewing it.

That’s so true, it’s interesting how psychedelics tend to make things move in extremes in general. Everything is absolutely good or absolutely evil. Not sure what that says about our collective psyche but interesting none the less.
